@@automachinehead Oh, was their word that AIC turned him down? I don't ever recall hearing that. Aaron is good, but I don't think he would be an actual good fit for AIC. You need to realize also that it would be just him singing but Cantrell and I'm not sure those two would be as good. Different singers for sure.
But, his style is that of a pro cops, pro tyranny dangerous white man. Sorta, the “fake veteran class”. I don’t know if that’s really the case… I’m an actual combat veteran, and I am opposed to how the police are, I’m opposed to the glorification and veneration of American military conquest. (I don’t know if he is that way… I’m thinking bout ted nugent, kid rock, ted Cruz… u know, never served, but kinda think their love of the military makes up for that. Maybe he just wears weird clothes?
Aaron is a monster musician. Oh you sell millions of records with two separate acts and they're two separate genres? Oh and you can strip down acoustically your own songs as well as covers and make them sound good too? Legend status.
The D&R Theater was renovated awhile back and is a great venue. Many national acts play there when on tour and have others gigs in other parts of WA. And to answer your question, Shelton also has national acts at the Casino.
Do it in the car. It just ruins the experience otherwise… an experience that was paid for, looked forward to and doesn’t happen very often. You don’t go to an art museum and lose yourself throwing paint on the Mona Lisa because you've had a couple Long Islands and are “just feeling’ it bruh”.
@@30AndHatingIt fair point, but i still disagree. id say listen to a perfect studio recording in your car and not in a large crowd of people if you want an undisturbed experience. you could say "thats not the same as hearing it live", which is my point exactly. the people singing paid too, and destroying paintings in a museum is illegal, for very good reasons. singing at a concert is very much allowed (and oftentimes encouraged)
@@Pimpulus I'll make my point in a different way. I'm a huge SRV historian and will be producing a short doc on him. There's rare recordings of him having incredible performances and they are an absolute blessing to have... but there have been 3 or 4 that were ruined by drunk, attention whores in the audience screaming over the performance. The man is DEAD. We'll never hear him perform again... so these precious few and far between recordings are all we have... and some are ruined, absolutely tarnished, by Joe Dirt screaming his head off right in the middle of a tender harmonics section on the guitar. Can't even be enjoyed. I hope the guy screaming enjoyed it and it was worth ruining a piece of history.
@@30AndHatingIt i get your point and admit that there are performances where i feel audience singing and shouting would be out of place and would annoy me. so it comes down to personal preference imo, because on the flipside, i experienced tons of concerts where i (aswell as the performers) where annoyed with the crowd being to silent and stiff. shame about those recordings ofc.
@@muyvo7604 how is that a joke. People make money with wet ass pussy songs, you wouldn't go wrong with a classic. Muyo, with all these posts, try not being an asshole so much.
Aaron had proved, peple are too stupid, and selfish for this type of venue. No one can shut up, and that annoying "woo" they seem so fond of. It's a wonder he walks out of so many any more.
Holy shit the way he rides all those high notes so well, almost effortlessly. What a fitting tribute to Layne.
He slowed it way down, he's got the voice....he wants u to hear the words. Layne's dad was in Vietnam and they called him Rooster
the best man that could've took over after Layne still bothered why aic didn't choose him

Kind of sounds like a mix of Seed of Memory and Rooster.
Nice try! Such a Legendary song, LONG, LIVE GRUNGE ~ FOREVER YOUNG GRUNGE ROCK! 🤘🏻🫶🏻💋🤍🪽💋
Of all the places for him to do a show... Aberdeen sure has gone in the shitter over the last few years... Shelton I'm sure is soon to follow...

Upchurch should take notes.

This song died with Lane. Nice try though.
