Thank you very much Mike for doing what you do in your videos, because of you filming the for sale sign I was able to get the phone number and buy the car that I've been looking for many many years
First time visiting this site. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Last time I saw some of these "classics" was as a young man. I'm 75 now. Recently, due to some back and knee problems I walk a little hunched over. Didn't know my disabilities would become a "chick magnet". Pretty young girls in their 20's and 30's often offer to help me with the groceries. Young girls are always attracted to men in need of help just like I'm attracted to some of these old, broken down "classics" in need of a lot of help too. I sure miss Daisey Dukes! My dream car has always been a powder blue 65' Jaguar convertible because they look so good on the side of the road with the hood up. But seriously, thanks for posting this fun site.
+1. Herr Mike Frankovich .... Many thanks for the comprehensive video shoot. .. Being a 1957 baby boomer these car models hold fond memories ... I think I'll keep my purchased new '98 Carrera S coupe and the Frau's '79 Super Beetle Cabriolet ... Varoom! .. Again, many thanks! Subscribed. .. Vail, Colorado
Geezus, I just bought a ‘46 Chevy pickup street rod similar to the truck at 42:18 which has a V8 and all new running gear and was 95% restored by the previous owner for $18k. Don’t shop in Pomona folks, unless you like getting taken advantage of.
Pesseio fantástico, por essas máquinas do asfalto, um verdadeiro museu ao ar livre, parabéns, muito obrigado meu nobre brother pelo o seu excelente vídeo.
24:52. truck price depends on a lot of factors. 390 engine, or something else, automatic or manual, power steering or not, ac or not ect. just an observation. Great video per usual
Love the yellow 79 F 150. Very rare if its original paint. My Pop had a 63 Impala SS 396 Station Wagon 3 speed on the floor with 3rd row and Surf Board Racks on the roof Jade Green. Try to find one of those today.
Hey I'm out here in the Midwest. If these cars are actually bringing this kind of money in California, then somebody's really missed opportunity. I wonder the only time I was out in California the guy asked me what I was doing there because they'd go by their cars from where I'm from. I enjoyed walkthrough. For example and pretty good survivor barracuda $2,500 he finally gave it away for $1,500. And relatively nicely 12-under guys asking 25k for in your video. There's a disconnect someplace on the price. I would have loved to seen the price on that 67 firebird and the Volkswagen thing. But you didn't catch that on your filming. But for a man who walked through over an hour looking at cars and that's only film time after edit. No complaints here thanks for the free show of cars. Man I got like 10 of those obs I've kept in a barn someone for many years. Always figure with such nice lines I'd be collectible in the future. Seems like a future quickly arriving. Macon earlier show with Volkswagen's in the prices were a third to half for similar qualities bugs. It was in California as well on different channel. Count me as a new subscriber. Thank you
Hi Mike - just discovered your videos and I appreciate your work on these. Looking to buy a late 60's Beetle and in SoCal - do you think the seller prices are inflated at this event? Planning on attending the next one. Thanks!
@@MikeFrankovich I kind of figured, but thanks for confirming. I'll be at the next Pomona event in 2 weeks either way. Hopefully I'll have a new car by then! Thanks
Mike, learned a lot watching the Pomona Swap Meet, and occasional classic car and I learned a lot about California entrepreneurs and their sadly deteriorated rust buckets. And to you I offer this advice; hold a little longer on the for sale signs, not worry about the illegible cratches via pen or pencil, and help us have more time to study the cars. Where I live I don't have that option. Thanks and I'll be back next year, The Good Lord willing.
Leave it outside for a couple of years and all of the old patina will come back through, its a cool car and anything that Jim does now preserves it for the next guy.

Goliaths are hardly vws, they are Borgwards. But the motor was similar to a vw except they were front engined, front wheel drive ,water cooled flat boxer motors.the rights for the motor design were sold to Subaru.

When is the next swap meet in Pomona?
April 16
@MikeFrankovich thank u sr.
Pomona Pricing! Prices marked up 100% or more. A lot of rust buckets
I try to show cars in various conditions. Prices here are usually high, but there's usually a couple of decent deals.
Mostly cars that they want to get rid of ,or way over priced dreamers
Cars are more expensive then at the dealership.
