Ok so I love the idea of tweaking the dish each time he tries it in different settings! You have a lot of people whom are too “afraid” to change up momma or grandmas recipe! To me I’d be honored that my kids made it there own! Gonna have to try this one for sure!

OMG, foret the chicken salad which sounds delicious..but Danny you are rocking a Pan Am shirt..my dad worked for Pan Am for 25 years til they went chapter 11..and fyi my dad was the only to call me Dani for short..cant wait to see u next cruise and tell u in person...my dad loved chicken salad when we la left over rotisserie chicken..he is gone almost 6 years..thanks for bringing me a tearful smile...good memories on Pan Am flights..being a ln employess child, I loved to play in the cockpit after landing and getting to wear the captains hat...
We made this today, but the grapes were too big for my son, so we used cranberries. The taste was explosive!!! So much flavor🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!❤ This brought back my love for chicken salad🥰 Thank you. ❤,LaLa

We add pecans to ours instead of the walnuts. The grapes to make a big difference. So good.

Love chicken salad, same as yours, often substitute
Chopped Bread&Butter Pickles, in place of grapes.
MOm added a splash of pickle juice causing it to need less mayo.

So I finally made this dish! I forgot to get Walnuts, and my jar of dill ran away. But it was still absolutely delicious! I did add wickles (if you're not familiar it's a type of pickle with a slight kick to it) and a couple pinches of shredded cheese. My fiance has ALWAYS stuck to his families recipe for chicken and egg salad, but he gave this a stamp of approval and even called to tell his mom about it!! Big thanks to everyone at the Wood Works for all of your awesome recipes, I can't wait to make my way through all of them!!!

I went to Wahlbergers in Grand Rapids MI last night!
It looks soooo good!! Never thought of adding grapes to mine. I’ll make but will substitute the Mayo with Greek yougurt
I use low-fat Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise and it is awesome!
