Great video & music mate. I went to have a close up look what's remaining of the SS Alkimos this morning on a friend's boat. And what's remaining of the SS Alkimos is the engine and the stern.
My dad told me about the shipwreck, I didn’t believe it at first with the whole “cursed” thing, i asked him about it when i went to the beach to walk my dog, he said divers had heard noises coming from the ship
There was also a murder suicide and the recovery of the ship is super creepy, the tug boat that was originally taking it from fremantle to hong kongs cable just snapped, and then another boat sent caught on fire. The crew that was left there to keep the wreck safe heard noises and shuffling sounds. After years of it sitting there, they sent a crew in to salvage items of importance as the ship was beyond repair. The salvage crew reported smells of cooking coming from the unusable kitchen, some reported being shoved by nothing and their tools kept disapearing only to reappear in areas that were inaccessible. Alot of people have also reported pets getting panicked and trying to run away on the beach nearby
The ship was built in World War 2 and has taken the lives of many ever since. There wasn’t just one individual incident, there have been dozens. It is haunted.
Hi, As someone who actually works at the shore cafe next to the ship wreck, I wouldn't suggest diving there, we've known people who have dove down to the ship and ended up in therapy for a while, and multiple people have said boating near it gives off some really bad feelings :) I mean, its all for you to believe but my personal oppinion, I'd suggest not :)
@@Jackson-kn7ri yep, been there twice about 17 years ago. Walked on the deck and explored under water, bad luck will find you if you go to the wreck. Research Jack Sue in regards to the Alkimos before going there. I personally will never go back.
I wonder what happened to the figure dressed in oilskins who used to walk along the deck, usually at sunset. And then there was the telegraph messager, unfortunately no one who could decode it ever heard it. The real expert on this dead ship is Jack Soo (not Fox Mulder) who has written at least one book about it, and has had experiences with the Alkimos that were not entirely pleasant. That ship's evil, I tells ya! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!!! It's worth getting into further detail about.
+mainelady207 You're welcome! I think my ongoing interest in all things unexplained came from a misspent adolescence. I'm Australia's #1 Underachiever. You have to have goals.
No one died when the ship ran aground and to the best of my knowledge no one has died in or around the ship in the years since then. Why it is supposedly haunted is a mystery.
If you want to watch an aerial view of a shipwreck with dramatic music and no narration, you've come to the right place!
Simple history gang

same i've heard it too
It's owned by seagulls now.
This is fantastic filming! Absolutely loved watching this!
Pretty close to the shoreline and shallow waters. What went wrong? And how many casualties?
Search the web and get the info you need.

A cool movie black cut to picture line would be, “Who am I? I’m the ship that refuses to die.”
Was just there! You got some amazing shots, great video!
Any good for scuba diving? Doesn't seem to be that popular around Perth
Hey mate, i have heard there are some nice crays there. My recommendation is Rottnest island👌
