Baruch Hashem! I have read this over and over for the past four years after coming out of Xanity. I felt that the words of Torah are true. For me to be able to observe Shabbat as Ger today is a wonderful gift from Hashem! Thank you for the clarification in your sources. I too read some of the sources you mention in this lecture...now I am filled more joy in honoring Hashem with a renewed spirit of joy on my journey to conversion...thank you Rabbi Clorfene!!

I am so grateful i randomly came across this lecture. For 2 months I have been dealing with this argument within myself. I have rejected my previous belief system and found that the only truth and the only 1 true G-d , is learned in Torah, but i had many important folks telling me I could no longer keep Shabbat. I am so grateful that tonight I can sleep well, and i will be back to listen to more of your lectures . thank you Rabbi.

@@WVSCROUNGER I see a lazy scholar who obviously never read the Torah, has no interest in the truth and wants a G-d that serves man - a scapegoat to heap all one's transgressions on, a "Mary come lately" who believes is entitled to an eternity of joy and abundance as if toiled and yearned to adopt the Will of HaShem all his or her life.

I am six years late seeing this program, but I am very happy to have come across it on this Sabbath day.
I was born in a Christian home and grew up as a Christian, but became dissatisfied and uncomfortable with the concept of worshipping jesus as god when I realized that is what it amounts to.
My search took me to studying the ' old testament ' and I rediscovered the concept of the Noahide laws and I began to study and adapt its principles and ways.
Thanks be to G-D I have finally found a home for my life and Soul.

Thank you dear Rabbi. As a Noahide Shabbat observance is a major subject of discussion in my community. I personally enjoy going to the local Chabad and worship with my Jewish friends which I consider my family. I study Torah and developing deeper understanding of the laws of Noah. I respect the Shabbat rituals which are reserved for the Jewish people so I too welcome Shabbat and pray for the salvation of the Jewish people. I listen beautiful Hasidic music, study Torah watch TH-cam videos like yours and honor the day. It’s very important to me to let Gd know that I understand the 7th day. Thank you 🙏🏻 Really appreciated this shiur.

A true Niahide is not allowed to keep Jewish Sabbath. A Noahide Sabbath is Sunday. Non -Noahites will have no sabbath.... because they are not worthy of rest... they are considered slaves.
Do your researcb. Read the sub-laws. I have this rabbie's first book.
There is much in Google to find their own writtings. Whether a Jew by conversion, or a Noahide, as long as you are a gentile you are not as worthy a person as a born Jew.
The Seven Noahide Laws are only similar to the laws God gave Noah. The interpretation and additions to that law are all rabbic Judaism based on the Talmud... not the Holy scriptures of Bible.
Beheading is their favorite punishment for those who break their laws... Noahites also fall under those laws.
      Do your resesrch!

I have heard it declared unequivically that Noachides can, and also declared Noachides can't, keep Shabbat. Ishay 56:6. B’H. I’m so positively impressed by You Rab. First time ever, I heard a Rab going further than “optional for bnei Noah”.
Ishay 56:6, says “foreigner’s sons that accepted HaShem”…”everyone that keeps Shabbat”.

I know this video is long ago, but I began keeping Shabbat while I was still in the Pentecostal church. I felt convicted in my soul by Hashem to honor His holy day of rest and to keep that day as a day of rest for my family. I continued to keep Shabbat when I became Messianic... and I continued to keep Shabbat when we became Noahides, completely leaving the Christian church behind. Yet, when you read works in the Noahide communities and online forums there is a mixed idea of Shabbat being only for Jews or it being for Noahides as well. Just like keeping the laws of Noah because Hashem has convicted you and commanded you, IF Hashem convicts you to honor Shabbat or even to cover your hair, your honor to Hashem supercedes anything someone else thinks is right or wrong. We don't answer to man, we answer to Hashem.

Since the sabbath was given to our ancestors in Gan Eden - it is for everyone. Abraham was a gentile..also Isaac & Jacob & many others. The laws are good according to the Tanakh. Read psalm 119. There is no commandment to light a candle on sabbath. Intimacy with the Creator is based on intention and obedience. There is just one covenant and there are perpetual commandments in it. The original meaning of 'sin' is being lost..on the wrong path.

I have a different situation. I am not Jewish, but I committed idolatry first, but I would not consider myself an idolater because I thought I was doing the right thing, and found out that for a few seconds I had done something terrible, and then I spoke to Hashem, and found out just how messed up I was. Hashem told me, "I AM punishing you," which to me meant that there was reason and order to the planet and all I had to do was find it for a lifetime. First I looked to the Christians, but it didn't elevate my soul. Christians did mostly seem like they were good people. I had a Christian upbringing, without selling my soul to Jesus. I can remember my mom saying when I started to study Christianity, "Nobody believes that crap," so I studied and found that I agreed with her, but she still goes to church. I don't, except for 1 day a year to sing Christmas carols, and no I don't believe in the words and try to make that very clear. I have tried Judaism, and I agree with it mostly. I found this video informative. I know it is truth because it sits well with my heart because I know that G-d can forgive any sin, but one He often doesn't is failure to study, according to Tanya. It meant the world to me knowing that there was a G-d out there who actually cared about what I do, and in this case; He had visited me when I was sick. It was as if I was forced into it. Why? What makes me different that I should be pardoned? I have been diagnosed with schizo-affective (it was as if I was in a war, I thought people were dying all the time but they would come back. Later I thought the world had turned to cannibalism, and I saw things while I was hallucinating that G-d told me were assholes, which was a brain with a digestive system on the prowl to eat themselves into a new body. I thought people who walked to the back of the store in the mall would get sucked through tubes that would lead to the food court as meat in the mall), autism (I was professionally tested for auditory comprehension and was in the bottom 1% of people), I also have a very bad milk and milk product allergy which if I have a drop of milk it affects me for 2 weeks even with digestive aides and makes it so I can't even put a sentence together, sleep apnea (I slept 45 minutes the night of the test and had 54 apneas before waking up). I was told that it was as if I got 1hr of sleep a night for many years on end), and anxiety. I wanted to die and would have committed suicide but was to afraid that if I did someone would scrap me up off the pavement and put me back together even worse than I already was. What I had learned is that the punishments Hashem deals in His infinite power, can make one suffer infinitely, but He will take them away upon repentance. My medications alone cost $50,000 a year. I could go on, but I think I made my point. My life was bad. I got confused over what is bad and what it good. Idolatry, I find to be the most hateful thing I have ever done. I moved out of there, and don't even want to go back at all because it sets me off with breakthrough psychosis just driving through that area, as in I won't even drive through that state. By now you might be getting the idea of why I found my way to the Jews. I wanted to be with Holocaust survivors because I felt like we may share a few things in common. With the help of Hashem my doctor tells me that if I "Walked into his office today, he would even know there is something wrong." There is no comparison to a live of worship of Hashem, even if it is only fear and/or awe of His infinite power, because He is G-d, and we have Torah, which is all we need. For the greatness of the way He has rewarded me it makes no sense to me or anyone else to reject Him.

This Rabbi is lying his teeth out. Jesus exposed this sabbath fraud. The sabbath was not a time of rest but a moment to reflect on oneself and what he or she did wrong in his or her past life. Remember, that, Isaac had gone into the field to meditate. What these European Jews don't mention in the Torah is that Moses had no clear decision as to what to do to a man some men found that they say, was
gathering sticks. This sabbath had no penalty. Read the book of Genesis and Numbers.

+Dawn Spallinger That is a Rabbinic creation as anyone can rest on the Shabbath as they want to just as God rested the 7th day. Judaism has it's own dogma and this Rabbi seems like another male religious leaders in their own world. On top of everything it shows such arrogance for Rabbis to even think that this is something they can enforce.

@@alk158 I think enforcement might come after tge Tempke is built and tge Man if Sin is revealed. I suspect the UN or type will enforce but at lical levels tge Noahide courrs will be run by local rabbis.
Christiansxwho do nit deny Jesus will be put to death by beheading. Some Jews, and Muslems are making alignments with each other, and the Pope says the Muslim god, Allah, is the same God that the Jews and Christians worship. Which of course this is not so.
And recently the pope has said something to the effect that it doesnt matter what we believe because we are all God's children.
When you couple this along with the fact that both Shiria Law and Noahide Law uses death by beheading as a punishment for not denying Jesus as Lord, Son of God, diety, etc., you can assertain how these laws will be enforced.
Another interesting point is that Free Masonry upholds the Noahide Laws.

Ok, so if the Jew is giving non-kosher meat to the ger, that doesn't mean meat designated in Leviticus as unclean, right? Because a Jew wouldn't even have pork or other biblically designated unclean animal (per Leviticus 11, isn't it?) in his possession, is that correct? Non-kosher in this context is referring to other kosher laws such as slaughtering practices, how the animal died, etc. Am I understanding that correctly?

    • @NetivOnline

I know the direction is correct, and a man of Love is speaking, I hope people will see that and stop yelling due to their opinions, and we must learn to speak reasonably. I see a few who speak disrespectfully and that is the same group who came against a group in Germany, so be careful what we say, for the angel of the Lord May be watching, and if he gets into the spot which is presaged, he will not forgive many a transgression against any children of God. I like how you are commenting Rabbi Clorefene, you will understand my feelings, only if we spoke, and I know people do not like to speak unless they already know others. I agreed with what you said, he may be going to churches, or Synagogues and he is not seen as having any wisdom, because it is much higher than the norm, and G-d almighty has placed these things for him to walk in. The reason he is no where is because people say, "no", right from the hip, so, I'm sure he is in a small chamber surrounded by dogs, I will not say men, because men are men, and dogs are dogs, so, I know you are on the right path. Concerning
    God's Sabbath.
It was given to Adam & Eve, one the last day of God's Creation week,
In Genesis Chapter 2 verse 3.
God Almighty gave His Holy Seventh day Sabbath, then for
    All Mankind.
No man on earth can claim ownership of God's Holy Sabbath Day, as it is God's sign of His Authority and Rulership over All Humanity.
When God's Sabbath is Remembered and Rest taken to reflect and acknowledge God's Rulership and Kingship or Rulership; it is then that God's Sabbath Day Blessings of resting benefits mankind's ,soul, body and mind.
Having studied Torah & Scriptures for over 60 year's,
I always refer other enquiring persons to The Genesis origins of God's Sabbath , then the Exodus Ten Commandments given to Moses, on the Holy Mountain, to the children of Israel.

CASE IN POINT: Torah was specifically given to the children of Israel as Abba prophesied to Abraham 430 years before the israelites entered Egypt. After the exile of Egypt, Gd gave the Torah to Moses to make a covenant with "Israel" alone, however WHOEVER joined Israel as resident alien or foreigner was mandated to keep such Laws. During the time when Israel became a nation, the resident aliens ( non Jews) and foreigners who became part of the commonwealth of Israel were also mandated to keep Torah just like native Israelite. Otherwise, they will pay the penalty of death if they break any Law in Torah. So, what is the difference now? NONE. Stop twisting the Torah or Tanakh trying to find an angle to fit your lifestyle or belief. Israel has been prophesied to be the light of the nations and who whoever righteous gentile Abba will bring in must obey the Torah. If a gentile thinks that they can become the light to the nations or be a light to themselves is completely a "wrong direction" just like the Christians decided to become the light to the nation opposing Abba's purpose. They took the wrong door by twisting the the Scripture to make it fit to their religion with a theology replacement of "spiritual Israel. The creator never said "i will make a covenant with Israel and another covenant with the gentiles" ?. Nope. The Messiah is coming to confirm the covenant given to the children of Israel and to fulfill the purpose of Hashem forever. No more waiting and whoever stays out is out for good. Do not be deceived what Rabbis say or teach. Read the word yourself and make a decision of what is the truth. Otherwise you won't make it to the Messianic age when Israel is fully restored. I am a Jew myself by birth and I don't believe in men but in the word of Hashem alone.

Asmachta means proof or support. When a Torah scholar offers an innovative idea, he looks for a support teaching from one of the prophets or sages. That support teaching is an asmachta. It does not give conclusive proof, but strengthens the validity of the innovative idea.

Hey Bert. First, thanks for responding. I was watching this weeks episode of A.D. on NBC and was thinking about this topic. Do you think the Apostles gave Noahide laws to Paul for gentiles like us to follow? (Acts 15:1-31

    • @BertGraef
      @BertGraef 9 ปีที่แล้ว

No, Noahidism is an evil invented religion of the rabbis which makes those who follow Jesus, "idolaters". Jesus is an idol according to them. This is a very wicked and blasphemous cult that these Jews who hate and deny Christ want to drag people into. The Apostles never gave these 7 laws to the gentiles.

    • @LukeWilbur
      @LukeWilbur 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I understand that Jews do not believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior. I am stating that the Noahide law is similar to what the Apostles considered important for Gentiles to follow.
Acts 15:28 For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules:
15:29 that you abstain from meat that has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what has been strangled and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from doing these things, you will do well.

    • @BertGraef
      @BertGraef 9 ปีที่แล้ว

Luke Wilbur No ,its not similar. The cardinal Noahide law is abstention from idolatry. And Judaism claims Jesus is an idol , and they actually are the "suffering servant" of Isiaiah 53 and Christians are therefore idolaters. It is not in any way shape or form , the message preached by the Apostles to the gentiles, for they preached Christ first, and a belief in Him, and these three rules . Noahidism is a total lie and Talmudic invention and antichristianity.

Interpreting the edict of the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 on the basis of the much
later Noachide laws is both anachronistic and a misunderstanding of the function of
the Noachide laws in the post-destruction, emerging rabbinic Judaisms. For not only
did the formulation of the Noachide Laws await the post-destruction era, but even
when they were tormulated within the rabbinic theology of the much later centuries,
no they alla not function as a separate body of laws given to Gentiles as a means of
«che a attaining a rightepus status, nor even as an actual code of ethics for Gentiles. It is
or Wrong, then, to conclude that the Jerusalem council gave the gentile believers a
minimal list of commandments, exempting them from the full expression of God's will
    in the Torah.

God, HaShem, which is Assyrian and means: He who cannot be named because His name is One, chose the Assyrian Noah and his family as his own people and made a covenant with them.
When Abraham emigrated from Assyria, he took with him the Ark of the Covenant, which contained the covenant and many other Assyrian writings such as the creation story Enuma Elish, genealogical records and royal records which were written in Assyrian, Ktav Ashurit, which is today's Hebrew. The bottom line is that the Assyrians are the first Noahides and the founders of later Judaism. As a curiosity, it can be mentioned that Jakob was called Ezrael, the one who wrestles with HaShem, and not Israel.
