That’s the only thing I hate about this game. It’s really good to have Gordon on your side but it’s also as good to have Selina, you can’t have both. Of course Waller is to blame for Gordon being on edge all the time ( can’t stand her) and Gordon is pissed at you for the rest of the game pretty much if you warn Selina. At least with Selina you can get her back in your side if you don’t warn her, yet again that pisses of Gordon who’s only happy if you side with him a lot. Losing battle.

I think a lot of people liked seeing Selina vulnerable and needy, and feel that having her beaten up brings her closer to Bruce. It's a hard choice. But seriously, Gordon was acting like such a jerk, it's tempting to just piss him off and warn her. Though I liked for John to steal the laptop, so that when Bruce takes the fall, he will feel more guilt-strickened and loved since Bruce took the punishment for his crime. John is Bruce's great love 🥰

And she could rat his Batman identity anytime to Harley or use it to blackmail him into working with her, but she never does. In the underlying story, Bruce actually trusts her very deeply as he never questions her using her knowledge of his Batman identity in any way.
At the mine story line, Bruce trusts her so much ... This is just the game of love and feeling that the two characters inevitably have to play through ... Two strong independent characterizations .... Both of them even do not know what is their true feeling to each other ... I guess ... "complicated" is their relationship notion.
Catwoman didn't betray you. If she did, you will be dead the moment she outed your Batman identity to Harley...and she remains steadfastly trustworthy in keeping your secret from beginning to end, even if you choose to abuse her or betray her. If she can be trusted with your most dangerous secret, she can be trusted with anything.
When Harley is left behind during the convoy raid and the GCPD is coming, she's capable of killing a lot of GCPD officers and comes back to the hideout with nary a scratch. You can tell when Gordon laments about the heavy casualties that the GCPD endured at Harley's hands and how it is difficult to inform the families of the dead. But here, Selina gets beaten up by the GCPD.

Whether she 'deserved' that level of physical violence is something that I'm not going to touch, I don't believe so however what people 'deserve' is always messy territory at the best of times. And no, I don't think Gordon was right to put his focus on her, as I think he wasn't right to do some other really stupid things, like going after Bruce despite the Agency's 'hands off' order. However as far as approaching her as a threat, if you are going after her? She certainly warranted that kind of approach if one was going to take her down, that level of commitment. I don't get it. Why sweat over a stupid decryptor and ignore the fact that Catwoman never betrayed him in a far bigger issue - his identity? If he trusts her with something so big, he will trust her with a small thing, like giving back the decryptor. This is what leadership is about - don't sweat the small stuff.
