I always thought that Wing Sung made the most decent Chinese pens and this one only proves it. I like that this fude nib makes a line with moderate width and not a huge one like the Jinhao. Thank you.
Not suprising, Hero made parker alike pens, WingSung made sheaffer alike pens, it was a thing for them back like 40-50 years ago. You may still buy a WingSung 840 for unbelievablly cheap price at 3 dollar to have a taste of how its sheaffer like pen design back in 1991. I believe there is still HUGE stock pile of old WingSung and Hero and JinXing pen somewhere in old chinese warehouse which made during 1970s to late 1990s.
I happen to love Sheaffer Targa pens, especially the slim fountain pens, so I went to eBay and found one of these and ordered it, although I ordered one with a fine nib instead of a fude nib. If it ever gets here, I may come back and say something about it.
I just bought a 10-pen grab-bag of vintage Wing Sung pens for US$20. I collect vintage Sheaffers, and was shocked to see their visual similarities. Actually some of the ‘Triumph’-style nibs are excellent writers. Many of the Sheaffers have Touchdown filling systems which can be a bit of a pain to clean. So I have been inking up the Wing Sungs and am enjoying them as well- not as much of course, but much more worry-free.
Stephen...I know you’re a weirded out by the Schaefer name “green” on that ink, and it’s justified. But the color is very attractive, so there’s that. The pen is sleek which is cool, but I can’t help always thinking that someone sadly dropped their pen on its nib whenever I see a Fude. Thanks for sharing. Fun as usual.👍
Thanks for the review Doc. Ewetoob saw fit to bless my viewing of this episode with 3 ads in less than 10 minutes. Crikey! Regardless, I always appreciate your insight sir. Thanks for all the hard work. Cheers!
I would like to ask you some personal questions, I do not mean to pry but I am interested. I telling my partner about you. She is also from the Netherlands (Goss). If you prefer answering in a different format (email), just let me know. From what you have said, I am guessing you grew up in Lemberg. What town? And you studied at the University in Utrecht? I know you love the cold. What were the other reasons to go to Canada? I can think of quite a few but I would never want to assume. And why Red Deere? I am always interested in how you met your partner and how your parents met. Thank you for responding. I always enjoy your videos and look forward to your upcoming ones. You are a natural born teacher.

Love this channel but YT's ads are killing me.
As I've had my eye on the Targa, I very much appreciate seeing this similar pen. Thanks for showing it to us. Nice and slim, just the way I like 'em.
Stephen, for US$10, you really can't go wrong especially if you want to try a Fude nib. Thanks for the review very enjoyable as usual
Fantastic handwriting ❤

First time to see this type of nib.
❤
Great review as usual, thanks. Wow and a very cool pen, if I can find a reputable dealer I’m going to spring for one or more. Have 2

I call the bent bit of a Fude nib "the foot". Let's all agree it's the foot, make it a thing.
I can get behind that
