Jin is my favorite vocalist in BTS. He is an emotive genius that drawn you into his song. His voice is powerful clean and cut through your heart. He don’t such sing but tell you a story through his voice and emotion.
I agree, it gives like 50s beach party movie or like teen summer movie vibes to me. It's just a fun song. I'm excited to hear what else he has on his album, this was the pre-release single.
'The astronaut' is one of his single which was released last year. His debut album will be released on 15 November. He has only two single in his official solo era till now cause he was in military. So his debut album will be having his upcoming songs.

The genre of this song is rockabilly. Famous rockabilly bands over the years would be Stray Cats, the Brian Seltzer Orchestra, and even the Beatles. The album that this song will be on is literally called "HAPPY." If you actually knew anything about Jin, you would understand that he lives his life every day with the goal of making other people happy, which makes him happy. A song having a happy vibe doesn't reduce it to a commercial jingle, nor does it make it less worthy in general. You'll probably say in your next video how awful so many ARMY are when you read this next part, but I'm genuinely confused as to why you keep wasting your (and our) time reacting to BTS? Nobody thinks everyone will like BTS (or the individual members' projects) or every single song by BTS, but we do ask that they be respected. Continuing to watch them when it's crystal clear that you won't like them because you're either "too cool" (guy on the right, that's meant for you) or just don't like anything that falls under the "popular music" umbrella (R&B, pop, latin, EDM, etc., etc.) - that's just disrespectul. It feels like you just get a kick (and clicks, perhaps more accurately?) by being a hater - ragging on something (or just constantly finding something lacking...over and over and over and over and over again), because you can. At this point it just feels like you're torturing yourselves, and that's just no fun to watch when the instrument of torture is something (and someones) that WE all really care about. The guy on the left seems more open, but the guy on the right has had his mind closed from day/video 1, and he ends up influencing the guy on the left in negative ways. That's how it all comes across to me anyway. I unsubscribed, but I wish you well...hopefully reacting to music/artists that you'll like better.
