You’re the first I’ve seen on TH-cam to do that. I’m surprised you don’t sort out the red hats and clean them together. Of be worried that one red hat might bleed it’s dye and ruin the whole load.

I found your channel as I searched for selling hats on ebay. One of my goals for 2024 is to get my hats listed. I mostly sell plush, books, and hard goods, but have dabbled in hats. I have several bins of hats that I have been putting off listing. I like your bulk cleaning method. I am going to do that, but on a smaller scale. I already have several of the hat shaper plastic forms that I got off of Amazon. Thanks for the information.
Finally a channel I can did. I too am a hat seller. I have been selling hats for most of my life. what I use is perfect round balloons for shaping. You can get a 100 pack for a buck and the hats have never come out better. We are about to change our youtube handle and when we do, I think we should do something...

Been contemplating getting one of those hat cages to use in the washing machine but I see that one is not necessary. I have a bunch of New Era brand hats with a flat bill. So I was always reluctant to put them in the wash. Definitely going to investigate if they have all the supplies needed here in Canada. Thanks for the info. I've liked and subscribed.

Hey Guys glad TH-cam suggested your vid. I was wondering if you have ever tried using the Dishwasher? That what I use and find that it works Amazing! It seems to not disturb the form as much as the Washer does. You may not be able to wash as many as washer but you can still wash quite a few at once. Plus the better the shape the more money you get. Good luck with the channel and Ebay!

Red does occasionally bleed. Most of the time if the hat is in dead stock type of condition. I am more careful with those.
Love your generosity. If free hats are still available, great. If not, that's ok too.

Thanks for the information as I have several old hats that need deep cleaning. I usually use anything I can find to put wet hats on to help form them.

You can still use the cage. It wont hurt just hard to wash 20-30 hats at one time in the cages.

I have 300-400. All mine from storage units saved up all year long.
