Liam Drzewicki Actually all our drum kits are lighter then any standard wood kit on the market. All our snares are the same weight as other snares in their respective categories. The only heavy snares we make are the A&F’ers Bell series and they are solid 5mm shells, with double lugs and weigh from 22-30lbs. Hope that helps!
Sounds really great, but I can't get behind the patina. It's just kinda... brown. I wish they'd do a line of drums where they just skip the pre-aging process.
Im in love with these. Everything about them screams "buy me" exept the price. Dont misunderstand, I think they are well worth the price. I just cant afford them this year. But my heart is already set on getting a set one day. Im sure it'll happen. ........In the meantime....., do they make other sizes? Id love a 10, 12, 13, toms,..16x14 floor,.. 20x16 kick someday.
Great video as always, Nick! Do you think you guys can do a video about kick drum mic techniques when you don’t have a port hole or Tom mount as is the case with these here. I have a sonor vintage series and haven’t found any videos on the subject. 👍🏼

Yes Mahogany hoops on copper, walnut hoops on brass, maple hoops on steel, we make them all.
