I wish there was a New Game Plus or something after you beat the main story. I understand why they didn't implement it. I can't wait to get in and see. I was going to go the Survivor route. They seem like the least likely to cause trouble in the game. But those traps do look pretty sick though.

8 hours in. Loving this game. You can literally go inside every building. The hit effect is just good as the first game. The parkour is not floaty. The story is good. This game is a gem
the combat is laughable! so dissappointing!
I played DL1 and am extremely hesistant to get DL2 the parkour and combat look VERY iffy to me and the trailers look like theyre hiding stuff.

Bash is underrated. In GRE zones they let you open the locked doors instantly just by bashing into them. Essentially letting you speed through to the 4 inhibitors for free.

@@majorlouis956 Use the bash skill (dash + M1/Right trigger). This will instantly force open most locked doors.
Be careful though when using it on doors associated with missions. The game only verifies that you went through a door if you lockpicked it/interacted to open it.

You can bash doors locked from the other side to. If it can be picked. If its the bars across that he undoes then it won't work.
Dude a semi-auto crossbow is VERY useful in tis game that only has a few guns, and those guns are two uses at best.
Then again the air vents with the glider would make you untouchable even at night, so its a hard choice.
I cant wait to play this games over and over again.
pretty sure some type of special infected comes out at knight and takes u down from the sky haven’t made it that far in the game tho

you'll miss out on a trophy for maxing one faction, and miss out on 'two way zip lines'
but the upgraded air bags is six for the survivors.
the crossbow pack is 4.
even if you want the trophy in one run, fine. do 6 survivor missions, back up your save, do a seventh, trophy, restore backed up save, to the last 4 as PK, best of both worlds, some traps, excellent weapon, plenty of air bags and whatnot.
might even be able to do it something like picking the 4 grouped areas with the best farming, choose those for PK.
No there is a gun in a metaphorically speaking lol that can be shot multiple times like 10 or so and lol it’s a finger gun and is a EE the left hand of gloVa aka developer secret blueprint weapon and does 80 damage with flame and blow back rounds
I wish there's more range weapons in Dying Light 2 like the Saw Launcher from Far Cry New Dawn. That would be dope af
Or do the space chicken EE and get a cast iron skillet that can be thrown indefinitely once made and is funny as heck to see zombies rag doll from being bonked from ranged with a skillet
As someone that has been in a bad way for a few years now and unable to play video games these videos give me great joy. I played the first one and fucking loved it. Can't way to be in a better place and to play the sequel. Keep making these lovely videos.

I'm happy they removed stamina for running it was a big problem early game on dying light 1
Honestly I never noticed an issue with stamina in the first game. Especially in the higher levels and when you unlock the “unlimited stamina” skill/perk its completely irrelevant. After a while I actually preferred the stamina draining because I was able to escape much to easily in the end game/exploring after beating story.
Actually there’s just three levels of running and only the third uses stamina
I wish they would remove it from all games lol

I love the combat and parkour in this game so much to the point where when I see the “help civilian” symbol on the mini map I go out of my way to fight the bandits because of how satisfying and rewarding it is👌

I've beaten Dying light 2 4 times now. For city alignment, I fully assign them to the survivors, now I'm fully assigning them to peacekeepers. I never really focused on the upgrade levels for the mods, so thank you.
Very nice tips and hints for first playthrough. I had explored basically all of houndfield and trinity already and had gone right by train stations multiple times.

I'm sad we can't jist add metal to weapons for repairs now. I always felt like things broke easily so I just hope weapons last longer or as long as weapons did with all repairs
In my experience weapons last a lot longer in DL2.
Korek blueprint it adds 500 repair to any weapon and you can just use it over and over again essentially making a indestructible weapon.
@@ckgun1 well that works seeing as I was probably going to find a favorite weapon and dupe it. Like on the first I had a katana I preferred.

Karek Charm allows you to repair your weapons infinitely. You just have to swap the charm out and equip it again and it'll add another +500 to your durability

There’s an artifact bow you can randomly get from vendors called Rust that does significantly more damage than the starting bow
I up the throwing knife in parallel with the bandage. Then molotov to crowd control.
The throwing knife's damage is decent and cost no stamina, plus Aiden throws it very fast.

Thank you for the information. Just started playing this. Love the fact the first time |I started it up, meet your friend and he tells you to come over.. (NOPE) my game crashed back to home screen lol Besides that I have not noticed anything "buggy" though I play on Quality mode, reflections are..bad. In the first lake you go by at the beginning the reflections in the mountains only "appear" where your screen is centered on but go away a good half a foot (of my screen 65 inch) on the sides. Really distracting when you look back and forth. But having fun so far.
9pm tonight I can't wait!!

My biggest tip is to use a controller with paddles on the back. Being able to easily use those for jumping etc is a huge improvement

This game is the perfect example of developers that appreciate the fans. I tried to play this game twice on ps4 and hated it. Once on launch and then a year later and barely made it a few hours but I picked it up again, this time on ps5 , a few weeks ago and I can't believe how much I like it now after all the updates and ps5 upgrade. There is soooooo much content and fun as hell
I noticed before the game released, and haven't heard anything about it yet... but there's a section on the map that looks like a head/face, with an afro lol

Peacekeepers crossbow gets elemental bolts and is busted and can break the game more if your running the ranger class gear and can one shot a lot of things not to mention it’s a 5~6 shooter and regular bolts take almost nothing to make
So don't get the crossbow then? Sounds like cheating and if I've learned anything for GTA that gets boring super quick

@@samuelyeet6006 …….Well it’s busted but still takes quite a lot to kill vollitiles and tanks and such but when running ranger gear that increases ranger weapon damage and your a high level cause crossbow is the only ranger I have found that lvls with you so higher level you are the higher damage it does I’m at lvl 6 about 7 and it already nearing 300 damage with my artifact grade ranger gear it makes my ranger damage go up by almost 50% got to grind to get the gear to get it to the point of 3 shoting tanks and almost 1shoting vollies lol but the crux is it’s a 5 shot crossbow that also has elemental bolts that can stun block enemies so even if it’s not a 1 hit KO well they can’t do a thing so might as well be lol it’s unfair but hey that’s anything ranged you don’t tell a sniper that’s unfair cause I can’t see you right it’s also partly the reason there is no technical firearms in the game but wait there’s more in the files there is firearms like actual ones so I shudder to even picture that when the rifles and pistols added in lol or hey it might be cut content but there is a side quest to find the guns of villedor and well it tells you there’s a hidden stash and devs said that maybe in future they will take you to it which would be game changing depending on who you sided with PK sends you there so the remnants of the Rena gases and the survivors get to it first
Don’t forget: the airdrop military tech respawns after a little bit, so you can go back for another one

kinda, yes.
you get upgrades for how many facilities you've given to one side or another
and you can give stuff to both
for example, so far, 6 to survivor for upgraded air bags and air vents and whatnot, look fantastic.
4 PK for the crossbow, so far seems hard to get one otherwise, also looks great.
the only real downside is, these aren't 'map wide' changes. you'll get air vents and upgraded air bags in all survivor areas. those 4 areas you gave to the peacekeepers, you're not zooming through the skies all that easily, instead they'll have some traps.
This game is a masterpiece to me, don't even try that "oh the parkour is floaty"

You dont even need to give districts to the peacekeeepers if you can just avoid all the zombies with the survivor parkour stuff. The only thing good about peacekeeper rewards is the crossbow.
so i think they change about repair part for weapon to increase max durability by50 and increase current durability by 50 too. so no point holding back now just upgrade the weapon you want to use and use them. when it's gone it's gone.
also if you happen to found this i stumble on thropie farming spot near rooftop outpost north of water tower. around 100m from water tower. there is a broken wooden bridge there next to outpost. so you just need to aleart howler and just keep kicking.
it not perfect some time zombie will get behind you somehow ( behind you is outpost so i have no idea how he got there ) but in early game that your weapon still not that powerful this spot is great.

I might give this game a try. Couldn't really get into the first game, and I dislike weapon degradation systems.
When you progress the weapon degradation isn't nearly as bad, at least that's how the first game was.
Yes that was one thing I disliked about the first game it just gets so aggravating that you get a new dope weapon and then it will break overtime and won’t be able to use it no more it’s just be annoying.
Just go to the blue shields on the map. Simple

honestly, felt the bow was better.
better ammo, fired faster, didn't really need the knockback as most things died pretty easily (especially after legendary levels allowed you to boost it)

the following, you have to earn the crossbow. you don't magically start with one, because the following is installed.
but, by that same logic, there's the weapon packs for the bow, too. i can start DL1 right now, and make a bow within the first hour (because the intro shit takes like a half hour), since i start with the crafting recipe.
another bonus, with these dlc, we start with the ammo recipes. so, no retarded bozark horde bullshit to get explosive arrows or whatever.
I honestly don't like moding my weapons in this game unless it's a durability mod or the empowerment mod

Me and my mate got this game last week after seeing the ”community update”. We have more or less been playing it non-stop.
The only “issue” imo is the horrendous voice acting and over all, really bad written dialogues. Can not for the life of me get that invested in the story since the NPC’s could be compared to Fallout 3’s NPC’s… and every accent in the game sounds so damn fake we’ve literally started laughing haaard to some things we’ve heard 🤣 But god damn, the game/gameplay fully makes up for that, and then some!
The immersion during nighttime with the filter option “normal, dark” (making the nights actually dark, like in DL1) have us so damn scared at times. And the audio, it is just so damn good it’s mindblowing. And lastly, the soundtrack! HOLY SHIT! 😍❤️ Can’t wait for more content to be pumped into this game 💯

Yo, I'm playing this game on ps4 and at the start of the game when you use your super sense to scan for zombies they show as a red silhouette but after I close the game and start the next day then the super sense won't show the silhouettes of every zombie just some sort of skeleton to a specific zm. Why, does everyone experienced the same or just me?

Can you put spark on multiple weapons or only one weapon cause I know you can’t remove mods?
You can apply any upgrade you own on any weapon as long as you have the resources to craft the upgrades/mods.
my guy talks about how inhibitors help stamina/climbing but doesn’t even have the speed climb skill

Havnt been able to play. The game is bugged cant progress missions cant activate windmills or anything without having to quit back to menu which sucks cos I was really looking forward to this game

I'm confused. I put 3 weapon mods on my weapon at start before I used it. This put the durability up to 300 I think it was from 150. So.... each mod increased it by 50. Yes. So if I was to wait till weapon was broken/damaged. Then put mod on to regain durability it would go up by 50 as before. Yes... 3 mods equipped to repair damage still makes the same additional 150 durability as when brand new. So surely I am better doing this from the beginning to get increased damage from mods. From the get go. Or am I being stupid.
