I am so glad I watched your review. I definitely was leaning more towards the monogram print because I have the Damier Ebene in the Neverfull, but after watching your review, I’ve confirmed I certainly want the monogram. Great information regarding this bag, it’s so pretty.

Thanks for the comparison video! I like the shape of the bag when folded in the middle, like a fortune cookie. I've seen some used bags that have a lot of dirt around the trim. I would take a clean white rag sprayed with scotch guard and wipe the inside at the end of the week to keep it clean. Very nice that you have both in your collection. They look so much better when you carry them! A good alternative to the neverfull

OMG I just got the monogram for V-Day and now I need the Damier Ebene too. I have the Delightful Damier Ebene so I didn’t think I needed it, but after watching this video, I think I need it too. 😂 My poor husband. I’m addicted to LV.

Yes! Please do a comparison between the Graceful MM to the Neverfull GM! I have the MM in the neverfull but am debating about getting the GM as a travel bag but it's just so huge since I'm only 4' 11".

People need to not shy away from vachetta or the patina process and learn that it’s part of the beauty of LV bags. I wish more people knew vachetta can easily be treated to be weatherproof. Leather wipes and a few coats of coconut oil rubbed into the vachetta will result in even patina and rain proof it.
I try to only use the water wipes or the Champion method (which uses only water). I was told that after a while coconut oil can go bad and cause the threads to rot. I don’t know how true it is, or how long it would take if it is true so I just use water. It evens itself out over time anyway. 🤷♀️
@@ItalidaReviews As long as the coconut oil is virgin cold pressed and unrefined, it’s actually anti fungal and anti microbial. I’ve had vintage Louis Vuitton for many years and all used coconut oil on them, nothing wrong with the threads at all and have never come across that issue. Everyone I know who uses this method says the same. There are leather wipes that have beeswax, coconut oil and aloe and they are amazing too.

You’re not crazy because I ordered this graceful twice my second one was bigger than my first one my first when I measured it it was smaller and the lady at LV said they can be cut differently

I have the Graceful MM in them damier ebene as well. I just started my LV collection a couple months ago and I love this bag!! I’ve been contemplating about getting the monogram as well since it’s such a great bag and the pink interior is so cute but was on the fence about getting 2 of the same bag. After this video I’m sold! I think the monogram will be a birthday present to myself later this year! Thanks for all your helpful videos! Love them!

You’re so right! LV has this brilliant idea of only treating certain pieces of vachetta! LVcoffelvr has this issue going on now with her new speedy25b! I can’t believe it 😔
I honestly don’t know who’s making these brilliant decisions for them. Morons. And we’re paying over a thousand dollars for these things they are just screwing up. I wish they would go back to making them the way they did in the 80’s. THAT was true quality.
@@ItalidaReviews I agree with you so much! I’m now finding that buying excellent condition older LV items from 2015-2016 are much better quality than the ones as of recent. I think it’s just hit and miss!

I found it to be very informative & helpful esp because im considering the gracefull mm in monogram along with other bags. very insightful esp with the color change. is it a deep yellow its how it looks on your video to me. i would not have known about that had i not seen your video. i still think the mongram is better, and classy. gives me much to consider with this bag. if you have any videos on the beauborg hobo mm, carmel, carryall pm/mm, and the on my side pm/mm pls let me know :)

I love the Graceful bags. They’re so versatile. I’m sorry to say, but I sold my Odeon. I wasn’t reaching for it and I was experiencing some issues with it ( not quality, just usability related). I’m sorry 😞.

@@tamib846 I found the strap on the MM size to be too long for me. I wanted to use it as a shoulder bag but even on the shortest setting it hung to my hip. I’m 5’4”. Also, when wearing it crossbody, the way the bag itself was shaped I couldn’t get my stuff in and out of the bag while wearing it.

I love my monogram graceful mm . I recently got it for my birthday on July 8th. I have it in the same interior lining. I’m still deciding on if I want the ebene print or not I’ve seen and heard that the straps on the Ebene can get horrible . I’ll just stick with having my cosmetic bags inside of my purse in Ebene. 😅

The next time I do a wear and tear of my Graceful MM in Monogram I will include why I returned the azure one. For the time being, long story short, it was experiencing problems with the strap splitting and it was a little too small.

Hello! You’re going to love this bag in monogram! I don’t put a protectant on it, I just use the Water Wipes on the leather and it gives it a beautiful even patina.

Hello! Yes, I prefer the graceful over the artsy. While I do like the compartments that the artsy has on the sides, the graceful is way more comfortable and fits more.

Hello! Unfortunately I don’t have a comparison video. I had an artsy for a very short period of time then the interior pockets started tearing away from the lining. I showed it in one of my videos, I just can’t remember which. I love the Artsy but the graceful is much more comfortable and costs half the price.

I use the Graceful more than the speedy because it’s more comfortable.

It was that particular bag I had purchased. The leather pieces on the strap were coming apart because the glazing was not applied properly.
Do you think this bag can fit folders and stuff for work? With out sticking out and still be slouchy?
Hello!! This can definitely be used to carry folders and still look slouchy.
I bought graceful Mm DE. My first LV. Can you tell me if its ok to babywipe the exterior and interior especially at the trim of the bag inside where we often put our fingers?
Hello! It’s fine to use baby wipes on the exterior of your bag as long as you use the water wipes. No alcohol or fragrance. As for the interior, I wouldn’t advise using wipes because they can leave a paper towel-like residue on the fabric. I would recommend using a damp wash rag with only water. No soap.

Hello, yes, I did have problems with the vachetta on that bag and returned it. The strap was literally peeling apart.
In your opinion, with the monogram will the handle have a chance at wrinkling or unraveling, which bag handles are better?
Hello, in my opinion, the monogram is more durable in terms of wear and tear. The handle can still get wrinkled (as a matter of fact the underside of the strap will definitely get them) but you can avoid the top part of the handle getting them by not bending it backwards. Also the monogram has a softer strap that becomes supple with time, whereas the Ebene does not soften. Also, wrinkles in the strap of the Ebene are more visible. I hope this helped!

@@penniesworth you can spray the leather with Apple Garde and it will make it water repellant. Also, any time I’ve ever had rain get on my leather I just wipe the entire strap down with water wipes. The good thing about vachetta is that eventually, as it develops a patina, it forms it’s own barrier and the stains work there self out with time. I think I have a wear and tear video on my graceful. It may be helpful to you.

I have a Graceful MM in monogram and one of my corners are already showing discoloration and I’ve only carried her 3 x’s and it’s less than a year old.

That’s not normal. Especially for the monogram. I would definitely take her back. But then again, this is the very reason I have stopped purchasing LV. Their quality has gone way down. Best of luck, and I hope they take care of you and allow you to exchange your bag!
I bought a Neverfull mm cerise 3x mono and each time the vechetta was different colors🤦🏻♀️so I ended up getting a mono pm gracefull:) Thanks for info what to look for and not just be satisfied:) for what you get .

Can you switch out the strap for a longer one to wear as a crossbody?
Hi, no, these straps are not removable. You can add a longer strap. I’ve seen others do that, but the shorter strap has to remain.

Hi! Thanks for your helpful video! You sold me in the monogram. I went to the store today but all they had was the Damier Ebene so I couldn't compare. The Damier was noticeably stiffer. Do you find that they both rub under your arm a bit? The Damier was on me, but I had taken my suit jacket off and was wearing my tank. I think I wish the drop was 1" longer. Trying to decide if it's going to make me crazy. I'm looking at the PM but strap length is the same on both.
When they have items in the bag it pulls it down further away from your arm pit. It will have plenty of room after you use it a bit.

I would say that the two are pretty comparable in capacity. The graceful is deceptively large without looking oversized.

I just used it and didn’t really give it much thought. The leather started developing a patina pretty quickly. I love the look of patina though. It makes my heart sing. I would say within a year it was a beautiful honey color. I did use it often so it got a lot of sun exposure.

Is both straps comfortable
Both are comfortable but the Vachetta strap on the mono is definitely more comfortable.

What is patina and why does it happen
Hello! Patina is the process of natural leather (untreated) gradually darkening. It happens over a period of time with exposure to air, sunlight and the oils from our hands.

I’m not sure about the price of them now. I know the price has increased. You are correct, there is now a microchip in the bag instead of a date code.

I use water wipes and that’s it. Nothing else.

The PM is a good size for your height, just keep in mind it’s literally half the size of the MM so you won’t be able to fit near as much in it.
