In some places- Takamatsu, Kokura, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, etc. I was told they're lane markers to keep cyclists on the right and pedestrians on the left. In other places- Sapporo, Nagano, Morioka, Hiroshima, etc. I was told cyclists should be on the other side, the LEFT. It was only in Chiba where some locals told me those yellow blocks were actually tactile blocks to help guide blind people. Which is correct?
