THE CMK Boi, he's talking about the screaming parts, not the breakdown after the solo, those are back ups, he's talking about the lead vocals Matt screams on the record...
THE CMK but Rev didn't sing the screaming parts Johnny does, he did the backups like "Die" when Matt says "Die Again", Rev didn't do the "Piece of mind is less than ever" (or whatever he says"
Omg I heart Avenged Sevenfold so much more after hearing this song live. Thank you for giving me such an excellent concert! Looking forward to seeing all of you next year!!!!!!!!!!
Brooks Wackerman is one of the best thing that A7x is ever blessed to get since the death of REV (miss him a lot though 😪😪) Hails #A7x for life /m\....😎😎😎
It's been so long since I listened to Avenged, almost 1 year of not listening to them after listening to them for 3 years. During that 1 year gap I've been listening to a lot of Periphery, and it's so nice to take a break from the intense technicality of Periphery.
02:01 I really love when he suddenly throw the stick! Since bad religion, for who didnt know put on yt "Brooks L.A. is burning" at 00:50...during the chorus he show this spetacular technique on bell and the throwing sticks
Metallica wouldn't even be here if it weren't for lars...Brooks is awesome and a good addition to Avenged. But he's just an addition. Lars is a guy all these dudes look up to. Even if he's not technical..
You know, at first I disliked the current state of matt's vocal chords. However, it seems as though that as time progresses since their latest album, his new style is really gaining substance. I felt like at first, it sounded like he was really straining to hit those high notes as he seems to be singing everything like up an octave or something. But now, his new style seems to have begun to mature and started to gain the necessary grit and substance to fit their new sound. It's not quite there but you can definitely hear it and this makes me even more excited for what the future holds for these guys.
Based Wizard nowadays he can hit notes he could never hit live before. listen to so far away live 2017. he can hit all the high notes he couldn't hit in 2010 without straining himself. I found over the years his voice has gotten more of a range. being able to keep the lows while hitting insane highs.
Brooks a great drummer but I feel the smaller drum sizes lack the heavy beefiness that bigger drums produce for their songs and would benefit their sound better with bigger drum.
Well when you're Chad wackerman son you're gonna be a bad-ass drummer. Listen to Brooks stuff when he was 18 or 19 with infectious grooves, groove family cyco and the next album boracho( I believe boracho also has 1 songs played by Mr. Josh freese as well). Josh freese play drums on suicidal tendencies art of rebellion album.... incredible drumming!!! And of course Josh freese was on the 1st perfect circle album Mer de Noms, great material. I believe Tim Alexander(one of my biggest influences, Primus sucks)plays the drum parts on track 1, on Fer de Noms. But the rest is Freese.
Too bad Brooks didn't have a hand in writing the drums on this album. The drums on this album sound very flat and generic, but they had an old man sit-in and play the drums. I, as a basement hobbyist drummer, came up with better drums than what you hear in this song. What a disappointment after what the Rev gave us. Brooks is awesome; too bad AX7 didn't get him immediately after the Rev's passing. I love this song, but the original drum track is cringe-worthy.
I see what you mean but I personally think he's playing fits very much. I think Portnoy is great but he was a drummer that didn't fit a7x, he just had the thecnique but Brooks have great technique and groove and makes awesome drum parts for a7x. I think he enjoys being a part of them:)
A7X will never be on Metallica's level ever! And Syn might be a good guitar player but he is a horrible showman. You would think that he was a fan of the great DIME that he would up his game!
How is he a horrible showman? You have to remember on this tour their performance is more reserved, because they are playing to Metallica. Normally they perform more. Syn is a far greater guitarist than Kirk, and Brooks is easily 100x better than that sorry ass excuse for a drummer Lars.
Metalhead Sneakerhead I have seen them three times now! I thought this would be better considering it was such a big stage! And I wasn't saying anything about his playing skills he can play guitar. Since one of his bigger influences was Dimebag who was a amazing showman! That he would up his game is all. There are very few videos of any Pantera show where Dime just stands around. Rather they opened or was the headliner. And also not saying he needs to be Dime he never will be. But if he was that big a influence on him that he wouldn't just walk around on stage like he's lost.
Well I love both bands but I have to say I like A7x's songwriting more but thats just opinion. Im not one of those stupid Lars haters, I do respect him(Cause Metallica wouldn't be Metallica without him) and he is a decent drummer but Brooks is jus 100 times better. And like the guy above mentioned, they keep it down a little as they are an opening act now
Syn should always sing like that ! It was fucking amazing
Ibtissem yeeah he always be
Brooks is so good that nobody notices when he changes drumsticks 2:01
I noticed
It's actually sounded insane when he missed that small part when he grabbed the other stick haha
El Bantos Bros so badass, he play it like nothing happen at all lol
Actually Brooks drops the drumstick
@@luigimoran5102 drop ??? He's throwing the sticks
Brooks is so relaxed.
I swear Johnny just yells random shit everytime his part of the song comes up lol
nooooo!
YES
THE CMK Boi, he's talking about the screaming parts, not the breakdown after the solo, those are back ups, he's talking about the lead vocals Matt screams on the record...
THE CMK but Rev didn't sing the screaming parts Johnny does, he did the backups like "Die" when Matt says "Die Again", Rev didn't do the "Piece of mind is less than ever" (or whatever he says"
I don't care whose part it is, he makes it sound terrible.
I think Brooks fits in the band just fine, and can't wait to see them next week!
Syn and Zacky make such great work as backing vocals. They harmonize perfect
Omg I heart Avenged Sevenfold so much more after hearing this song live. Thank you for giving me such an excellent concert! Looking forward to seeing all of you next year!!!!!!!!!!
Brooks chilled af playing one of the hardest hitting drum lines a7x has lol
Brooks Wackerman is one of the best thing that A7x is ever blessed to get since the death of REV (miss him a lot though 😪😪)
Hails #A7x for life /m\....😎😎😎
It's been so long since I listened to Avenged, almost 1 year of not listening to them after listening to them for 3 years. During that 1 year gap I've been listening to a lot of Periphery, and it's so nice to take a break from the intense technicality of Periphery.

Great camera work!
Drumz666 stixxx yes
02:01 I really love when he suddenly throw the stick! Since bad religion, for who didnt know put on yt "Brooks L.A. is burning" at 00:50...during the chorus he show this spetacular technique on bell and the throwing sticks
Awesome video dude thanks for the upload can't wait to see this tour in July
2:01 RIP to Brooks's drum stick
drummer is like 100 times more advanced than lars, crazy these guys are opening......
Metallica wouldn't even be here if it weren't for lars...Brooks is awesome and a good addition to Avenged. But he's just an addition. Lars is a guy all these dudes look up to. Even if he's not technical..
Lars is Metallica's front man fyi, No Lars no Metallica
LOL. Metallica wouldn't be Metallica withouts good ol'boy Lars and his horrid playing lol.
2:03 he broke a stick, threw it, then kept playing on beat like it was nothing 🤣
Brooks is better than Lars and Syn is better than Kirk. Other than that, Metallica are better
2:02 Brooks has a little mess up and drops a stick. Picks back up like no big deal
He threw it actually?
He was changing drumsticks and he banged the switch over
I was there….way up in the nosebleeds. Great show!
I love it so much🎃👋👋👋👋
2:02 is that his drumstick?!
Yes. Yes it is.

Based Wizard I agree!

eddie johnson Same
I know but I'm not going to drive over to Campton to see too far
Johnny could AT LEAST try to be more professional. 7 years since the release of nightmare and he still sounds like shit live on his vocal parts.
Giovannii Gomes lol
Giovannii Gomes Well johnny is a piece of shit, so it makes sense for him to sing terribly
Kwame Brown he is not a piece of shit.
BigBlu fuck that, bassists rule...and I am not even one.
Raquel Pujadas Domínguez

I miss Brooks #BadReligion
A7x is lucky to have this guy. Happy to see him conquer another genre.
Brooks a great drummer but I feel the smaller drum sizes lack the heavy beefiness that bigger drums produce for their songs and would benefit their sound better with bigger drum.
Ahhhh, where is everyone, jesus av7x has been around forever and are gods
Surprised Johnny didn't do the chipmunk voice prank on Synyster again
I laugh at how hilariously awesome his vocals on Nightmare are 😂😂
Synyster gates my idoll

I miss Brooks in Bad Religion :(
I don’t think there could have been a better replacement for the rev than BW. Dude has the cleanest chops.
I need a bigger kit for these guys….
What the zackys new haircut is awesome....
Hail tô the fucking future King babyAvenged is LifeMy generation ser Avenged and MetallicaThanks godBrazil amazonas manauss porra
brooks is nailing portnoys parts.
It is actually Jimmy's part. They already recorded a demo of nightmare while he was alive, and Portnoy just followed the demo.
Who were they opening for? Crowd seems lame

drummer DIMEBAG divebomb lolol
@@viewtubeuniverse2967 ok, and what's the big deal?

Why always JHONNY
Who's the drummer?
brooks wackerman
Dudes good…..but needs the bigger kit for the “show”
Avenged Johnnyfold
Avenged Sevenfold is another nickname of Johnny, the rest are just session players
I don't care what anyone says Brooks still doesn't fit the band in my opinion. Arin was a better fit...
Stop zooming in
Quality Sucks but this is awesome
Wow empty stadium or everyone buying 6 tickets a person
syn outfit's suit the guitar
Alusan drumer iye
they need to be more proffesional, opening for metallica and all....
Delacroix 😑😑
Sou mas o antigo baterista
Man, they have the worst background vocals of any band i've ever heard lol.
You guys should just let the crowd take care of those back up vocals. That shit sounds God awful lol
Esse
Showzinho tava uma merda,a7x já foi bem melhor
love how some of the vocals are canned SMH
Change your drummer 😪
1:56 vocals caught lip sync! he pulls the mic down, but the voice is still singing ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sad
That was Zack, you idiot

BW is a great drummer, but to me he just doesn’t seem to fit, like he’s there just doing another drumming gig.
I see what you mean but I personally think he's playing fits very much. I think Portnoy is great but he was a drummer that didn't fit a7x, he just had the thecnique but Brooks have great technique and groove and makes awesome drum parts for a7x. I think he enjoys being a part of them:)
should have just kept Mike!! 10 times better drummer!!!
Brett Neanover he has his own band
Ya I know that..mike is my all time favorite drummer!!..I just think he sounded good with them.
Mike is not fired from avenged, he resigned
sorry for my bad english
I did not know that..!

Mike > Brooks any day.
