If Oliver de coque is to be alive, nothing will stop me from bringing him to perform on my wedding (The level of love I have for this man is top notch)
Wow... that man Oliver is amazing. See the way he played almost all the instruments. His music got every body dancing. Thanks to the uploader, we really appreciate this.
This is just so sweet to watch! 24 years after, I am not sure Chief Oliver De Coque would know he will be putting smile on someone face like he is doing to me now.
I really love ❤ this! Chief Oliver Dec Coque and his Band members really did a wonderful job and the attendant of the concert really caught the good vibes. This is just too sweet to watch.
When i was still in secondary school i used to pass in front of his house in Lagos state and i saw him at close range sometimes, i knew he was a musician then though. I never knew someday he will put smile on my face as he is doing now. Rest In Peace Chief Oliver De Coque.
The Song and the happy People makes it all emotional. May God Bless O D C's soul "R.I.P".. & thank you very much BOLAJI for uploading the beautiful music from a legend.
Great king of high life, legendary Sunny Akanite a.k.a Chief doctor Oliver de coque.u have paid your dues in this life, but, your demise was sudden and unexpected...forever you will be remembered for your incredible and wonderful talent of singing in igbo language with the deep igbo adages that our good forfathers taught...may your kind come again..
I love Oliver de coque. I grew up listening his music when my dad used to play his songs on his stereo (people's club) on Sundays after church and in his car. But Mr Coque was not born in 1947!! He was more likely to have been born in 1927.
He was actually born in 1947 as states here. I've been an avid fan of his from childhood. He succeeded a bit early in the 70s standards. He also died in his early 60s which left most of us his fans utterly devastated.🎉
I'm sure I was at some baby sitter when this show took place... Many familiar faces as I was born and raised in Los Angeles... Our Igbo community was very strong... Later on his shows got bigger...
I imagine that in 1991 Oliver was virtually unknown in Los Angles when he made this appearance. There seems to have been very few people in the audience (mostly Nigerian by appearnace), BUT, unknown to the millions of musically ignorant people in Southern California who were not in attendance, there was something truly extraordinary occurring that night in this small club.
