When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) came out, it completely blew everything out of the water. Amazing graphic, gritty and violent campaign that is more realistic rather than over-the-top explosion. And then they proceed to downgrade to COD cold war and now this junk called Vanguard.
I would agree with you for cold war, I don't know what it was with the engine treyarch was using but i could never get my sensitivity right and everything felt so off. it was impossible to do anything in that game with vanguard at least its using the same engine as MW and everything feels like it ran in MW for me and my friends. Vanguard is much better than cold war.
That was the point of Modern Warfare it was their take at a hyper realistic shooter that didn’t do anything but make people hide and camp in corners, whereas now in vanguard (i agree about cold war) you have game modes like blitz that make the game fast pace and more fun for people who like that kind of action because that’s what call of duty used to be and i’m hoping that one day it will return but this to me is a step in the right direction and if you still like all of that stuff that modern warfare brought then Battlefield 2042 releases soon but i’m currently loving vanguard

Hate how it looks identical to Warzone and the menu for that, just the MW remake in general. Instead of just gameplay, camos and challenges being copied over it’s like the whole feel style and look.
Cross-platform, too, which means PC players get the full Xbox experience all around. WWII game, brown and grey as the only colors, listening to every little sound that happens in somebody's else's house through their kinect. I previously really liked the idea of cross-platform games, but playing with xbox players has really changed my mind on it.

Was playing Back 4 Blood that had one guy and his friend playing in the same room, so there was some mic echo, but also there was a person in the background yelling at a kid, and the kid yelling back, for like half the campaign. Shit just doesn't happen with PS4 and PC players. Again, I assume it's because of the Kinect but idk, it's something with xbox microphones being terrible.

Has this game actually been playtested? How can it be that games these days can be so shit and the developers get through with it. I mean I really don't mind the faster killtime e.g., it always felt to long in previous titles to me. But all the other stuff is just.. weird, it seems so off. The small maps with 16 guys on it, the flamethrower with infinite ammo, the pure chaos.. I think old wars are the worst setting you could pick for this type of action. I think futuristic settings would fit the chaotic state more, but futuristic cod games also sucked i.m.o. Respawn seemed like the only guys who could pull it off quite well with Titanfall 2. I'm just so confused about what games have become these days.

This game looks awful. COD 4 was the prime of the multiplayer for me still. This looks like a chaotic random mess of dying instantly on some terrible map design. The single player looks really good. It seems fun and has classic grand COD campaign moments and sniper missions, all the good stuff. Yet its like 4 hours long. In my view the best part of the game and its way too short.
Honestly, i personally really like vanguard right now. It's not a perfect game, there's a bunch of issues but I'm having way more fun in this than I did cold war.

Well you're right in that the chaos doesn't fit THIS specific setting (first spec-ops), but for WW2 the chaos seems perfectly reasonable.
