Excellent videos . the writable layer data -like your example of testfile.txt will not be gone if container stopped and restarted but will be gone in case the container is removed and created again (beyond the lifecycle of container the writable layer files will be gone).

Thanks for the videos. In the docker volumes section, I think the mount point for testvol1 ending with '_data' is different and the file storage folder 'data' is different. Am I correct ? or docker considers '_data' and 'data' as same a folder name ?

I will take care of that, but the order doesn't matter because they are independent concepts. I put the volumes first because there is a possibility that we use volumes in dockerfile definition so having the knowledge of volumes prior to dockerfile would be helpful.
