@shinylugia5726 My dad had a 1952 Hudson Hornet when I was kid. His was a "British" racing green straight 6 cylinder and used to blow away mid-50s Chevy and Ford V-8s. Also Paul Newman, as Doc Hudson, was one of the greatest American actors of all time. RIP Paul & Doc!
Fun fact: they used a recording done for the first movie (but haven't been used) for the 3rd movie for that small moment at the beginning of the movie during Lightning's "I am speed" self motivate talk.
Chadwick was by far the saddest imo. He was so young and his death was so sudden. The fact that they had T’Challa die the exact same way in the movie and made the movie a tribute to him absolutely broke me. It was so moving. I sobbed multiple times during that movie.
@@TMX1138 that’s not how it works. Marvel has done an incredible job of making sure there characters can only be portrayed by the original actors. Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and of course Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa. Boseman owned the role of T’Challa as much as Downey owned the Role of Tony Stark. Recasting the character would imply that he didn’t own it. If it isn’t broke or too broken, don’t fix it

@@TMX1138 I understand your point but honestly Chadwick Boseman was iconic as the Black Panther and T’challa! I can’t even imagine anyone else playing that role but him! Sadly they couldn’t, they did the right thing
I remember when people realized Doc Hudson died, few people in my circle hated the 3rd movie because of it. And I had to explain "no its not on purpose they wrote him out, his actor actually died."
I really appreciated how respectful they were towards both T'Challa and Chadwick Boseman following his untimely passing. Wakanda forever, Chadwick will never be forgotten.
At first, I was on team recast the whole time. As a Black man, I didn't love that they killed off one of the few black superheroes on film who's supposed to be the most powerful heroes in the MCU. That would've been like if we FINALLY get Man of Steel 2 but then they decide to kill off Henry Cavill and replace him with Sasha Calle. Which actually could've happened if James Gunn hadn't saved the day. Part of me was hoping it took place during the Blip, especially since there are still almost no storylines since then that took advantage of that period of time, having Shuri fake her death out of protection (IDK, maybe they met Namor earlier) and have the rest of the movie tell basically the same story and leave the door open on recasting T'Challa with the movie ending showing the back of his head. But I saw how the movie portrayed the mantle and why it shouldn't die with T'Challa. It was so compelling to see Shuri come to the realization of that. And they 💯% sold me on the younger T'Challa! Which makes me think Storm will be introduced in the MCU to be around the same age as him and I hope that happens!
By killing off his character after one standalone movie? That’s not being respectful! That’s actually hypocrisy and actually more disrespectful to the character than continuing his story with a new actor.
To be honest, when I heard that Paul Walker died, I expected his character in Fast and Furious, Brian O'Connor, to be killed off as well. But I guess no one wanted to do something super tragic and said "Screw it, let's keep him alive!", because family.
Same. If Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner would’ve died in Furious 7, im pretty sure he would’ve been in this list in this video. But im glad Brian O’Conner is still alive in the fast Universe. I was happy seeing Paul Walker got to be in Fast X Because of the flashback scene at the start of the movie, hopefully Brian O'Conner (CGI) can return in present time in Fast X part 2 :)
The very sad thing is: John Belushi was actually intended to be in GhostBusters. Dan Aykroid was literally writing a line for his character when he was told the news of his death x
One irony that I caught in "Blues Brothers" is that one of the characters said "Who are you going to call?" (I didn't pay attention to who said it) and that line is now associated with "Ghostbusters".
Leia's death in "Rise of Skywalker" really hit me in a sad, emotional way. Carrie Fisher did a perfectly outstanding job playing as the iconic princess. Both she and Leia are a huge inspiration to us girls: we girls can fight for what's right, too.
As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I was bursting in tears when I saw TROS in theaters. I still weep at that scene almost 4 years later. RIP CARRIE FISHER. May the force be with you. 😭💔
At first I wanted them to recast T'chala... But after seeing the way they handled the whole situation in the sequel which introduced his young son I'm fine with the non recast... The young avengers are now the future of the avengers in the MCU.. so at this point it makes more sense...
True, whether he was still alive for BP2, I think it would've been proper for him to have passed the torch on to someone else still alive, but the way they handled it was still good
I think what also makes Carrie Fisher's death that more tragic is that she played Angela in Family Guy, and they paid tribute to her with Peter giving a heartfelt eulogy. For a show based solely on comedy to make a tribute in her honor shows how much she was loved and missed.
An honourable mention goes to Brian O "Connor ( Paul Walker ) . He has acted in almost six Fast and Furious films. When production for Fast 7 was in the works, Paul Walker sadly died in a car accident . They added cgi to his character with his brothers provided for stand- ins. For me, the death that affected me the most was Chadwick Bosemans.
I feel like Nimoy and Spock Prime's deaths were some of the most tasteful on the list in the way that the characters were essentially mourning alongside the actors who portrayed them.
Respect to Chadwick Boseman and the fact that for a time in the comics, his sister Shuri had the Black Panther mantle but the movie Black Panther Wakanda Forever really dropped the ball on continuing forward. Sure there's the argument to Chadwick's sudden passing affecting many things and people, but those behind the MCU who wanted to increase "The Message" in the movies ruined what should have been a far better handling of passing the mantle.
You should also do list of TV characters (both animated and live action) who were killed off because the actor demanded it. For example, Freddie Prinze Jr, who voiced Kanan Jarrus in Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018) agreed to voice him only if they killed him off at the end, so Dave Filoni had to do so, despite numerous attempts to get Freddie to change his mind (when he was writing the script for Kanan’s death, Dave was going through the grief of his father’s death and didn’t have the heart to kill Kanan off). How do I know all of this? Online articles that are everywhere
The Marcus Brody one really hits me since I have been on an Indiana Jones kick lately and would have loved to see Marcus in the final scene of the 5th movie going out for ice cream with Salah and the kids.
@BobHanson-fp3hg Exactly. I mean, I was getting flashbacks to the Lego video games with his character, wishing he was in the movie. So, I took the Lego model and memory of him from the first movie and put him in the final scene in my mind after watching the movie to make the ending perfect.

I'll leave an honorable mention. Cars has Dave "Big Deal" Deal to thank for helping out, Pixar. He's barely mentioned in the behind the scenes. I did see that he made concept art of lightning, tow-mater, doc, the fiat and a not used pre-doc character. He died during production of Cars 2.
