Keep away from Pumpkinhead, Unless you're tired of living, His enemies are mostly dead, He's mean and unforgiving, Laugh at him and you're undone, But in some dreadful fashion, Vengeance, he considers fun, And plans it with a passion, Time will not erase or blot, A plot that he has brewing, It's when you think that he's forgot, He'll conjure your undoing, Bolted doors and windows barred, Guard dogs prowling in the yard, Won't protect you in your bed, Nothing will, from Pumpkinhead.
Man, if they were to actually put Pumpkinhead in Dead for Daylight, then he would be the baddest, meanest horror character in the game. I mean, why not just use him instead of the Nemesis Tyrant?
Who are ya? Ed Harley. Fraid raisin' the dead ain't within my power. This is all I got. This is everything. Nothin' I can do for him. When I was young- I said there's nothin' I can do. I saw it! What? What do you want, Ed Harley? Say it. Say it! Say it! I was young. Folks used to talk about you, said as how you do things. A man had been wronged, come to you. You called upon this thing in that man's name and that man, he be amendsed. What you're askin' got a powerful price. They killed my boy. They run him over. And they left. Ever hear o' Rasorback Hollow? There's an old graveyard way back deep in them woods. Man folk used to bury kin in there. Kin they's ashamed of. Bring a shovel. Thing you're lookin' for is in there. Bring it back here. Some things I gotta do to it 'fore it'll be any use to ya. That graveyard, how'll I know- You'll know, Ed Harley. You'll know. Leave the boy.
I’ve seen this movie when I was a child and it still gives me nightmares to this day! I don’t think I’ve ever seen another movie that scared me so badly, this really is a masterpiece in the horror genre, there is no doubt about that!
This movie is already scary enough and it has to go and have an equally frightening theme song. The people who made this film obviously knew how to cure people of constipation, if you catch my meaning?
Timothy Dobson you always like Pumpkinhead. I always like Sharktopus, Terrordactyl and Jeepers Creepers. Haven't you ever seen the movie John Carpenter's Vampires starring Academy Award Winner James Woods?
Not sure if I'd call Pumpkinhead a "slasher" but I agree. Imagine if they made him more of an antihero going after the human villains (or perhaps a cult? Maybe even another demon?)
Pumpkinhead was released in 1988 with Child’s Play/ Friday the 13th Part 7/ Halloween 4/ A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4/ Killer Klowns from Outer Space
And The Blob, Watchers, The Brain, Short Circuit II, Night of the Demons, The Land before time, Uninvited, Slugs, They Live, The Nest, Phantasm II, Zombi 3, Zombi 5: killing birds, Cocoon, Beetlejuice and Brain Damage
@@RadioSnakeInvasion6333 And Return of the Living Dead Part ll, Maniac Cop, Hellbound Hellraiser ll, Critters 2, Ghoulies 2, Sleepaway Camp 2 Unhappy Campers, Waxwork, Monkey Shines, Scarecrows, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, Hobgoblins, and Poltergeist lll
I saw this on tv at around midnight on IFC before it became plagued with commercials. That was about 2 years ago. Loved it! It was so atmospheric! This is totally underrated.
I love these films (the first 2) but I never really thought pumpkinhead was scary at all, I showed them to my ex though about a year ago and she had nightmares and was so scared of him so apparently he is lol
Sometimes I think that I'm the only person who can say in response to what I did this weekend as, "Oh, I had dinner with my parents, hung out with the family, watched some Pumpkinhead . . . you know, the usual!"
This is the most sinister horror movie theme. There is something supernatural and evil in this music, like a chorus of tortured souls straight from hell, accompanied by melancholic sounds of harmonica. Too bad that in horror movies don't make such atmospheric soundtracks anymore.
Boo Ninny I would settle for a re-release/remastering but a remake? I would summon the big guy himself to punish such an act. Despite some opinions, I do feel this film ages well. It's a product of an era where film included passion and popular demand or executive meddling. Kudos for your answer. Peace.
@stlouisrocker100 I know, right? the first one was terrific, the 2nd was great as well, but the 3rd was a bit meh to me, but then i never got to watch it all the way through. Just the fact that they switched to CG effects instead of keeping the athenticity i guess.
Keep away from Pumpkinhead,
Unless you're tired of living,
His enemies are mostly dead,
He's mean and unforgiving,
Laugh at him and you're undone,
But in some dreadful fashion,
Vengeance, he considers fun,
And plans it with a passion,
Time will not erase or blot,
A plot that he has brewing,
It's when you think that he's forgot,
He'll conjure your undoing,
Bolted doors and windows barred,
Guard dogs prowling in the yard,
Won't protect you in your bed,
Nothing will, from Pumpkinhead.
The poem goes so perfectly with the music.
If you put your blood in a cup a say that a chill will run up your spine
@@alexhundley3796 yo what!?
Cruel, devious, pure as venom… All hell’s broken loose
Coolest poem ever.
Pumpkinhead for Dead by Daylight
I’ve been saying that for years and even suggested it a couple of times but that company keeps dancing around him
I guess the demogorgon is pumpkinhead
Your my best friend now
I wish that pumpkin head had his own NECA figure
Man, if they were to actually put Pumpkinhead in Dead for Daylight, then he would be the baddest, meanest horror character in the game. I mean, why not just use him instead of the Nemesis Tyrant?
Something about that 80s synth with the harmonica just makes this so much creepier and foreboding. This film was so underrated.
Pumpkinhead will hunt down the marked ones who disliked this video.
I have liked this video
@@cherylstevens6898😂😂😂😂😂
One of my favorites. They don't make them like this anymore..
Great concept, shitty movie.
DarknessLord96 oh you shouldn't have said that. Pumpkinhead is going to get you.
Scotty Lewis shut up
Who's gonna summon him anyway?
May I ask what you don't like about the film?

Ed Harley.

Indeed, Video laxative :D
Timothy Dobson you always like Pumpkinhead. I always like Sharktopus, Terrordactyl and Jeepers Creepers. Haven't you ever seen the movie John Carpenter's Vampires starring Academy Award Winner James Woods?
LOL that's like Viggo Mortensen said in Young Guns 2
With all the 80s slashers coming back I wouldn’t mind if pumpkin head made a comeback with a proper sequel
Not sure if I'd call Pumpkinhead a "slasher" but I agree. Imagine if they made him more of an antihero going after the human villains (or perhaps a cult? Maybe even another demon?)
Still one of the best horror movie demons of all time.

pretty sure I'm the only one that'd summon him willingly knowing I would be sent to hell and all that.

Lynne Bryan It can be if you wanting to be lol
Similar to Texas Chainsaw Massacre mixed with Silent Hill. AMAZING

FRAID RAISIN THE DEAD AIN'T WITHIN MY POWER.
Cut my teeth on this movie when it came out, it now is my #1 top favorite movie.

those lyrics sound like something Lord Infamous would write....
What lyrics and what does lord infamous have to do with pumpkinhead

I like watching this movie close to Halloween it's a good and scary movie and good theme but spooky 10/4/20/
Great theme 🎃
I love this movie
26 people did not approve of this theme song and want to summon Pumpkin head on those responsible. I guess they prefer the second movie's theme song.
I've always loved the first film
Now it BEGINS !
Needs to be remade.
Or you could just watch the original and stop enabling Hollywood's laziness.
Boo Ninny best answer ever

Sounds like music from the Diablo games, all it's missing is some tribal drumming
bel coro. Sinistro!
Part 1 good, part 2 not so good. The movies of course.
You mean the first two movies? They were both disappointing depictions of what could have been a very great movie villain with a cool concept.
Part 1 was great, I haven't seen part 2.
The second film is shit.
