As a dancer, I totally feel for Hyoyeon. Like when they said it must be like torture and how she said she's used to big, bold movements. Like, it's so difficult to reign yourself in when you want to do more because you know you can do more. Being asked to do little leg kicks and stuff must be no fun for her. I was happy with I Got A Boy's choreography because it was a chance for Hyoyeon to show off, but she never gets any screen time in the MVs...Hyoyeon will forever be my girl bias among all girl groups. I Got A Boy was choreographed by renowned American choreographers Nappytabs, and as you said, closest to her preferred style of locking/popping/waving/boogaloo. Still she is not given much screen time nor moved to the center for solo section. It's already 7 years since debut, she won't have any more chance now.
No it's because she's just the ideal in the west like for us she's gorgeous because she has that western look that most Asians don't have kind of like an exotic beauty and she also has talent

I really like Hyoyeon,she is kinda underrated! She is such a skilled dancer and untop of that I kinda like her personality,I think it's well balanced, maybe it's just me. I saw her dancing with my Exo bias Kai and man she rocked that stage. Also,I find Hyoyeon really pretty but in her own little way...Hyo is my bias in Snsd,although I remember it being Yoona but I decided to give others a chance and here I am! I think that for me - and this can go for many other people who are fans of hyoyeon - the moment I fell in love with hyoyeon was when she danced. The first moment she caught my eye was in their debut mv nearly 10 years ago, when she hadn't "toned down" her dancing enough. Hyoyeon as she is, is why I love her.

Pre-debut she was fairly well known as a trainee and one of the more anticipated members of snsd, even before they were called that. You'll notice that Hyo had more significant portions of older songs then newer ones for the group. She's gaining popularity again which is great and I only hope that SM it's going to be smart about it.
I love Hyoyeon! She is not meant for GG. It works well for her. But she can sing/rap and she is an amazing dancer. They don't give her the credit she deserves. Hyoyeon is the best, I don't fricking care. After 6 years you would think people would shut up about her looks, don't you realize she has more to offer than that?! I do feel bad for Hyoyeon sometimes, she is an amazing dancer but even when she does have the oppurtunity to show it they rarely ever give her the spotlight, it's only for like a second. I think it'll also be hard for her to get even better when she has SNSD dances she has to learn and practice and probably rarely get to do her own thing. Maybe in the future she'll be able to do dancing only and she will be GLORIOUS! haha

There shouldn't be an argument at all, actually, HyoYeon is gorgeous, especially here. Haters don't like to see the people they don't like looking good at any point so they irrationally attack her on a video where she obviously looks to die for. Few hairstyles she has been given in the past are ingrained on the minds. That subconsciously alters their entire outlook on one person. Those who just generally jusdon't find her attractive shouldn't be talking. It's not like she's being flaunted by SM.
