I just started this game and wow, it’s absolutely brilliant, it’s already my third favourite Yakuza/spin off game, it perfectly blends the eccentric humour the games have had, but grounds it with a dark and engaging story. I’ll confess I know about Soma, a friend showed me. So I’ve seen how dark and contained the performances, storyline and action is, but the school portion is nuts. It’s like JoJo season 4 coupled with the departed. Love it
These kids really thought they were onto something, huh. They ain't know this guy is from Kamurocho, he's had to deal with far more frightening guys than some kids pretending to be close to the gang Ichiban beat up several years ago.
I like the detail of him taking up the Tiger stance after he tells them "You keep bringing adult shit into this, I'm gonna have to treat you like one" Instead of him using a more defensive and takedown style like Snake like in the other cutscenes, he decides to use probably the most hard hitting style he has.
My former college classmates were nowhere near as bad as Matsui and his senpai even though they, too, were hostile. 7:51: How Matsui "begs" his senpai for favors. In the dark.
