Durga puja is for all people, not only Bengalis. It is amazing, thematic pujas, lightings, the creativity, the works. My nephew who resides in Chennai came for the pujas for the first time in 2012 and was awe struck by the sheer grandeur of it all and since then has been coming for the pujas every year. He knows all the major pujas happening all over city so much so that he can become a tour guide. Ramakrishnan

Even though I'm not a Bengali , I've always loved Durga Puja since childhood. The sound of Dhak, women in their beautiful red and white sarees, the excitement and festivity in d atmosphere and not to mention the yummy Mithais , that our Bengali classmates used to get to school afterwards ❤

i live in delhi.. in our colony sadiq nagar, 80% of the residents are bengali.. every year, we organise our own durga puja.. a lot of people visit here!! my baba is one of the main organisers. in my life of 13 years,, i have seen my father as a mentor and a big brother to all the other committee members..so happy to know that, in the future i will also be a proper committe member

See u guys celebrate it with an open heart but it's not ur tradition....... U celebrate bihu every year ....... If bihu is now celebrated in Kolkata and they say it to be there tradition then u all will get angry bcoz it's ur feeling for this festival...... And although I live in guwahati but from Kolkata but now guwahati is my city and I love this city.....
