@@fatboynip actually a lot of fish (specifically a lot of sharks and rays and catfish) have little 'Sensors', little body organs that detect the subtle electromagnetic fields that are given off by all living creatures. It helps them to 'sniff' out prey that they cant otherwise see (like if prey fish or crustaceans are buried under the sand to hide). I can imagine that a deepwater shark would find these sensors especially useful since there is practically 0 light that deep in the ocean for them to see with. I hope you found this info interesting c: And it doesnt seem so far fetched for fish to have the power to sense electromagnetic fields when you remember that electric eels exist! The eyes are like that because the shark is blind. It can't see by regular means due to being so deep in the ocean, barely any light can get through, so the entire area is pitch black. How could such imperfect creatures be this beautiful?
How can the Clorox meme still be alive?
Clorox Bleach Because humans exist anyways and overestimate themselves too much. There's a reason why we came up with the phrase "the beauty of nature".
they've managed to survive for millions of years, i'd say there close to being perfect
Clorox Bleach dude you're everywhere
they're not "creatures" it's evolution for nature's sake

the deep sea is like the deep web
Deep sea might even be more terrifying
I wonder what percentage of life on earth has been discovered?
If you're counting all species that have ever lived, it's less than 1%. Not sure about currently living species
A A that’s my point. No one has a clue about how many undiscovered living species there are
I think that's fascinating. There could be a strange being you've never seen before living on Earth that someday will get discovered.
maybe uumm 0.09%????
Probably a solid 5/7
Shoutout to Alex Heyne.
Awesome. Now let’s leave it alone. Underrated comment
0:00 Legendary red eye ghost shark
Lol
we got some professional scientists in the comments here
unwichtig I studied at the TH-cam institute; I also worked for TH-cam for the past 69 years. I have an in depth knowledge of sharks that span far beyond. Also, I will conclude this shark is possibly the cutest shark to exist.
Those “sensors” on its head are actually there to detect bull****; anyone with a PHD on sharks should know that.
Alexander Bizardi how old are you?!
👀 The reality is that, we don’t have an age. The stuff they put in our food and in the air is making us age. Those reptiles, demons, or aliens; quite simply want us the same way we want pets. Choose the one you want and forget the ugly one, who cares what happens to it. Right?
The moment you knew it was posted in the year 2016
Now look how outdated you are!
FeelsBad
Ur mom outdated
My phone outdated :(
