Where's the Crazy Talk Mod? It lets your character gain Pat's "LEGENDARY" Stand, Crazy Talk, that glitches your game and does certain effects, more negative than positive TO you UNLESS you have a lot of Luck... like... 30 would be limit where things become good but you get better results with 60. For example, bosses die INSTANTLY from one hit or you teleport into a shortcut OR a new Bonfire (not including boss ones) and items DROP onto you and depending on your luck you get something SUPER BROKEN or good! Also if you die from an enemy attack, you don't and your HP DOUBLES and recovers a hundred times faster. Or if you fall from a ditch, you teleport back to the spot that you fell in with invincibility of 1 hour game time. If your luck isn't above 30+... prepare to cry as Crazy Talk will delete your saves, revives enemies (INCLUDING BOSSES) with double health and DOUBLE attack and your items BREAK apart or disappear from your inventory. Also you die at random times. So you better get lucky or else Crazy Talk will end you.
and if you really want to challenge yourself, play with 0 Luck, and the Murphy's Law effect will trigger, which means anything that can go wrong W I L L go wrong
The Rayman Legends thing was honestly the first big sign that Ubisoft has no clue what the hell it was doing. They literally delayed right before it shipped out and right as all the devs were finishing up. What's even funnier is that the Switch got a port of it, which has similar Murphy controls to the non Wii U versions and has all the Nintendo outfits too. So even speedrunners have a reason to just avoid non-Nintendo versions
the only thing that looks bad to me about the remaster is the way the characters armors look. the areas look fine, like they made them less dark, and just made the textures look a little less "PS2" for lack of a better word. Like original still looks amazing, there was nothing wrong with it, it didn't need a big change, but I get why they did it. I just wish they had left it alone. Keep the blacks black. But that armor looks terrible. Less pixely sure, but not it just looks like a single color, no shaded, no texture one piece suit.
In my experience, appropriate lighting settings on my tv and in-game fixed most of this (in regard to that stuff anyway) Also the original has really strangely worded interactions and hud text compared to the remake
I genuinely can NOT understand how people are going so hard on the "Remastered looks terrible" train. It looks great! And also they're complaining and saying, "I'm not going to pay $40 for DS fix!" then don't fucking get it on PC! I'm pretty sure the only reason that Remastered exists RIGHT NOW is to sell on the Nintendo Switch. No shit it looks compressed, they're trying to fit it on a console that has 25 GB of storage! I mean, come on! Who doesn't want to be able to play Dark Souls wherever they go!?
I love the thing on switch. I never play it for it's multiplayer anyways. Most of the time, being the hobo I am, I don't have internet, so I gotta play through it by myself. The only reason I'm commenting rn, is because a friend of mine lets me use his wifi.
. . . I don't think the remaster looks like shit. Honestly, I prefer crisper and clearer colors. The original ends up looking murky and foggy in places with no fog. DSfix doesn't help that much. Like, I'm not saying the remaster looks balls-to-the-wall amazing (what the hell was up with the stairs leading out of the sewer into Undead Burg?), but I wouldn't say DSfix looks that much better either. Then again, I'm legally blind and can't even tell the difference between 4K and, well, not 4K. However, this is Pat we're dealing with and he tends to be an over exaggerating man child who's instinct is to jump all the way to one side of an opinion and stay there, so I'm not sure what to believe now. Damn bad eyeballs. Unable to tell what looks better or worse anymore.
psychologyman we're talking about a dude who thinks "fashion souls" means "just put one armor set on". I don't trust his opinion on anything dark souls.
Also let's not forget that this is also the version that will exist on the Nintendo Switch, where it will be compressed and formatted down to 30fps and 1080p while docked and 720p on the portable screen. I'm fairly certain that some of these changes are being made exclusively to make it run on the Switch so that it doesn't melt.

Jason Cruz OH BOY!
Luck?
You mean Resistance?
I know right?
Same thing but Luck would be a reference for Lucky Ted.

I JUST SAW THE VIDEO RIGHT BEFORE THIS.
GODDAMN
Somebody drop a quarter in the “Plague was right” jar
Why?
Source pls
All I remember him saying is that they'd add a bunch of fanservice referencing the later games because he doesn't understand how remasters work.
Plague said this would be in the ds3 engine. He literally could not be more wrong
Not a single response to any questions whatsoever😂
1,500 subscribers. That's super cool.
Good job, Griffith.
Congrats! You......................................................................................................................................................................................................................did it!
You can clip through the ground at 60 FPS sliding down any ladder. It also reduces your sprinting and rolling speed and distance slightly.

So they should totally do a play through right?

Ah I see.
You know what, you're right. You may be legally blind, and I'd *still* take your word over that of Pat, the neurotic gremlin.
I am with you with the 4k stuff, like how can you even Spot a difference
