what if the opponent keeps spamming mids

@@formidogames Its your job as the player to counter the mids. You either interrupt them with ws4, sidestep them on a timing or whiff punish them. Ever character is going to try to do something different

with ws3 at +17 on block which is crazy why isn’t it a guaranteed launch like df2 is it only because of range?

It's +17 but it's a kind of frame advantage that lets the opponent block afterward. So the correct way to notate this is "+17g", which Tekken doesn't do. If you could actually hit them after they block ws3 that would be pretty broken. So with that being said- if I do ws3 into DSS 3+4,4 which is i14, they can still block it. Weird, I know. But that's something called "guard frames" I think.
Also, ws3 goes into DSS all the time and you don't have the option to not go into DSS, so you can only do DSS moves. Therefore no df2
