Agree With Every Single Thing You Said , I Have Played Every Single Eutechnyx NASCAR Game And The Least Played Of Those Is NASCAR 2011 The Game , And The WORST Part About This Is That This Game Is What Started The Norm Of The Decline In NASCAR Console Games , Sure Inside Line Was Underrated , And NASCAR 14 /15 Were Decent , But This Series Led To The Trainwreck Of The HEAT Series And Possibly The NASCAR Games From Motorsport Games . (Also Not To Forget The Series Literally Became A Burned Bridge BC Of This)

I'm playing a career mode through this now. I remember the hype back in 2011, it was sky high. I think they actually got a lot right in this game, after the patches 1) Graphics look fantastic. Very realistic. Not as shiny as NASCAR 08/09, but more real, gritty, that added to it a lot I think. 2) Damage model. For small run ins and trading paint I think its actually really good. It gets bad when you have a huge crash and your car shape remains intact, but you just have some shredded sheet metal, thats bad. Also yeah, the whole front of the car coming apart was dumb, they needed to buff the damage there at least 150% 3) HUD was great. I thought the gauges looked realistic and the other details on the HUD were sharp. The car radar on the bottom was very cool, and something we have not seen since. Also the interior views were great. When you hit the gas your drivers foot moved. I thought that was great detail. 4) Finally, while the difficulty for sure needs work, it is more of a challenge than you may think. I am playing on the hardest difficulty and am only 70 points or so ahead after 8 races. Ive won 4, but also have been involved in some crashes and bad pit luck, so I dont think the difficulty setting was super far off, but would have been better if it was buffed maybe 20% or so, at least on Very Hard. Its a shame this game launched so poorly. It had a really good base after the bugs were fixed, I mean you could actually drive the cars around a track, unlike NASCAR 08/09 where they felt like tanks and wouldnt turn at all. This game had a more Forza like feel, which was great. Menu system needed work. Racedays should have included more, aka having to back out to practice and make setups was dumb. For a first try a lot went right. I enjoy this game over the Heat games by far. Thanks for the review!
I Think EA was going to make a 2009 installment for NASCAR but then it got canceled. I wonder what that game would be like and who would be the cover driver.
Unfortunately thats.. not the case, EA Was done with NASCAR By the time NASCAR 09 Launched, They Only made NASCAR Kart Racing just to finish off the contract they had with NASCAR, From what some former developer said, If EA Had the option to close their deal with NASCAR 09, They definitely would have finished it off with '09
NASCAR 21 ignition: the same thing + more bugs and 2021 season and tracks Pd: seriously I feel the game are not bad but is the first nascar game by eutechnyx and to you see whit good eyes the game you see it’s not so bad
Man NASCAR 2011 was really bad. Especially the cheese grater damage and how unresponsive the cars are...also cool hearing the Alf season 3 theme at the end.

All the drivers are not the same on track. Go to Daytona and draft with Mark Martin and then draft with Tony Stewart.

The game was fun at first, but then it got boring. Career mode was a complete joke. I did my rookie season, and it wouldn't let me advance to year 2.
