I always hoped they would do somthing like this with all the stills available on this film. I just cant get over the idea that every original print is gone. Doesnt the library of congress have one on hand for copyright?
An impressive reconstruction considering that this lost film still remains lost since 1965 59 years ago after the fire in MGM vault#7 destroyed that last known film print copy!
I still think a 7-reel nitrate film print is out there waiting to be found,or a safety film copy might have been made from the original 35mm nitrate original and is stored away somewhere.Let's hope so!
