Yes it is PopPop. Thank you for watching
Really good info Dale, thank you .
Thank you Mike. Thank you for watching too
Do you make those conibear stabilizers or are available somewhere?
Wickenkamp cage traps from Hedrick Iowa Ron. They usually have an ad in FFG Magazine
Missouri won’t let us use coni bears on dry land. I wish we could,I would like to use in kill boxes. Thanks Dale
You can use a 5x5 on dry ground Don in Missouri
You can run 155s on dry land in mo
@butchcassity4169 that's right Butch
Pennsylvania is 6 inch and only in waterways for mik and muskrats. We are allowed 330s for beaver trapping
Ok Amsbaugh I couldn't remember just how y'all's law read. Thank you
@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 it think that it dumb that we can't use conibears for land trapping, and I don't see it changing here either. I have to stake every trap because using drags in most of the places that I trap won't work too well
@amsbaugh8198 my 280 and 330 here have to be completely submerged. But I can put a 220 on dry ground. Laws sometimes don't make sense
Dale I don't think you have to worry about catching much with your dog hooked on the jaw instead of the trigger😅
Just for demonstration purposes only chub. I appreciate you watching. Thank you
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 Dale that's a nice looking support but don't it give you trouble in hard or frozen ground. And is that how you place your wires I always use a V
@chub4141 sometimes in hard or frozen ground you have to drive pilot holes. But anymore I don't deal too much with either as I go south. Yes my triggers are always on top and in a V
Good tips . Thanks
Thank you for watching Paul
I love K B stabilizers on my 330s for beaver. They really shine in spring when the banks still have frost.
I'll bet they do. Thank you for watching
Dale do you bend the trigger wire any specific way?
I don't Wentz. I leave them straight and in the middle
KB stabilizers with 330s, for beavers work great!
I'm sure they do Moyer outdoors. Thank you for watching
Another informative video. Thanks Dale!
Thank you for watching Jason
Very good Dale, I sure don't miss them silver grinners.
Going to try some 160 stabilizers.
Always good information.
Thank you for watching Chad. You ever get lonely for grinners I'll bring you a truck load 😂
He’ll yeah
Thank you Christopher.
AS always, I do it a little different but whole heartedly agree with bait in a bucket as the Silver bullet for Silver opossums. Saw my 1st baited wood box cubby with a 220 size BG in 1976 and you can imagine the numbers of critters a guy like me caught BEFORE I retired them to strict wintertime use elevated in brush piles. Even in trails, the BG's pick up interesting non targets on occasion. If you are trying for the 100 opossum season, a baited box 110 size BG, early season, will go a long ways helping you achieve it (LOL). My youngest son and I did 150+ opossums one year with all sizes of BG's from Nov.1 to Jan 15th. Good info Mr. B. .................the mike
I appreciate you watching Mike. Thank you
Amazing as always.
Thank you Matthew for watching
Dale is there anyway you could bring one of those 220 wickencamp stabilizers to the Illinois convention? I would like to see how they mount to the trap before I go and buy some.
I'll try to remember to throw one in Brian. But in case I don't, you just drill out the rivets and they fit right in the holes. Sometimes you have to ream the hole just a bit
Great video what do think about the hagz spring clip
Mark I've never used them. But I think they are a fine deal. Thank you for watching
Awesome video! Thank you
Thank you for watching JR.
Been really enjoying your educational videos, and yes they are educational. Contrary to most where they mainly bost their exploits, here we can find some answers and technics that have been proven to work.
Thank you very much Jean. I appreciate you saying that and for watching too.
I was waitin on the 330 in the water stuff , but I guess I will have to look elsewhere !!! 🤣🤣🤣
You'll be happy to hear that I just went and picked up another 110 330s on Saturday. They're great in every place except Iowa. Our 330 law sucks!!! They have to be completely submerged here. Absolutely useless in my opinion Otter Cat
Dale we up here in Upstate Ny use those KB’s religiously for raccoon and otter and fisher we cant have a trap raised more than 8” off the deck at the top of the conibear
ive also grown quiet the fondness for the stakealizer i’ve used them in beaver runs and trails with great success
thanks as always Mr Billingsley
I'm excited to try the kB in Louisiana on those mink. Thank you for watching Brent
If you’ve got 8” of clearance, would it be conducive to run another body grip below the top one? Double stack em and let em go low if they want to. Catch one low and then when the other raccoon comes along he goes to climb over the dispatched one, wham.
Lautzu not in my opinion no.
👍👍👍👍
Thank you Mr. Melvin
Great info Dale. Thanks a lot
Thank you John. I appreciate you watching too
In SC beaver eat the stalk of palmetto.
They do in Louisiana too. But if you find the dry dead ones to use you're in good shape
👍🏻😎🇺🇸 more great info
Thank you Sonny
I have many of the KB Stabilizers. Only issue is be sure to tether your trap to it especially in the water or their gone. We can’t use conibears on dry ground.
I'll remember that Scott. Thank you
Great video Dale! What is the name of the stabilizer that you showed first that is mounted to the 220 and where can I get some of those?
Brian you can buy them from Wickenkamp cage traps from Hedrick Iowa
Good video Dale. Do you make your stabilizers that mount in your rivet holes? Or buy them?
Wickenkamp cage traps from Hedrick Iowa is where I buy them Jeff
What about muskrat stretcher for a stabilizer?
Corey I don't use them, I don't like them simply because it puts the conibears too low in my opinion. I feel like you have more refusals by having it too low vs high. Thank you for watching
Outstanding, Dale! Thanks.
Thank you Mac. I appreciate you watching too
