- Construction has begun on the largest NATO base in Europe in Romania. The plan is to expand the Romanian Air Force 57th Air Base to include runways, hangars for aircraft, facilities for weapons, as well as accomodation to host up to 10,000 NATO soldiers and their families.

Wion is wrong, it's not Putin's war, it's NATO's war that started in 2014 when the NATO countries financed and organized the coup d'état in Ukraine with Victoria Nuland as organizer.
Victoria also appointed the new government along with the US ambassador in Kiev 3 weeks before the coup d'état.
NATO has opposed peace in Ukraine several times, i.a. by opposing the Minsk agreement in 2015 and the peace draft from Istanbul in the spring of 2022.
Not everyone is fixated to that narrative. Not everyone blindly believes pootins story.

Russia took Avdivika... that is the only city they have taken in Ukraine in 8 months. Avdivika is 4km from the 2014 line. Before that, they took Bahkmut, it took them 10 months to take Bahkmut... 18 months to capture 2 cities that are right next to the 2014 front line. They would have no chance against NATO. Hell, right now, Ukraine is holding Russian territory in RUSSIA, and Ukraine alone has destroyed 12 of 31 Russian oil refineries. Ukraine doesn't have a navy, and barely has an air force, yet it owns the skys over Ukraine and the Black Sea. Can you imagine if the American Air Force and Navy was involved? Russia would last 2 days against NATO.

If Putin had not caused full scale war, Ukraine would be just like Cuba with its own problems and everyone would prefer to spend money on more sensible things than the army.
