I'm seconding another person in the comments, knowing who's talking with the name lighting up gently is literally a game changer for immersing yourself in the enjoyment of the video! Very cool!
I think they mixed up Chrism with Bird, but the feature itself is fantastic
especially when they are wearing masks or when the camera is not too focused on them.
The names highlighting when they're speaking helps so much, especially since we can't see their mouths when they talk. I hope they keep that, it's a cool feature!
Is that microphone recognition feature new? That's awesome, never noticed that before. It's nice to know who's talking when there's more than two commentators since it can easily get fuzzy if people have similar voices.
Awesome run! What a nostalgic game, despite its flaws, I was really gaming whenever I played this with my friends and my sister. The salt was pouring, often, and it was great. I wish you had explained more about how to win the pipe treasure game for one
I think it started happening during the Online events so people knew who were talking.
I believe the mic recognition feature first debuted at AGDQ2022, where it helped due to being an online marathon, but it was only for runs where the commentators names were on the layout (typically runs with no webcam). Now it helps quite a bit because commentators are properly on the layout (a nice new feature) but also because everyone is wearing masks so you can't visually see who is talking. Though its worth noting that a good chunk of this run Chrism and Bird were mic-swapped lol
Jaw dropping moment when the vine-grab happened. Also, he was spot on with the comment about destroying your palm on the joystick. The Item Shop game with the wind-up toy absolutely wrecked my hand when I was a kid.
Slot Car Derby was (and still is) the absolute bane of my existence in Mario Party games.
16:00 I like how tech turned up the volume when they called the track a banger.
Which is appropriate, this is a Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenosaga/Blade composer) game.

My friends used to have a dedicated Mario Party controller called "Sharkey". Called so because the top of the control stick broke off, leaving just a metal pin. We attempted to play tug-of-war many a time using it. Lots of pain :(

It's happening on my end too. Either it was a conversion issue, or it was OBS during the stream.
Super exciting run!! It was a great one to be in the front row for. Only thing that could have been improved was playing as Donkey Kong!
The names lighting up while speaking is a nice feature, but in this particular run the names of Chris and Bird are swapped.
I don't know if it's my mediocre NH internet but the video game seems to skip a lot where the speaker audio is fine but even the time clock and image will be paused. It happened a lot in the first minute and I really hope it gets fixed because it is becoming unwatchable.
I wanna know why the Luigi hate? Lol
