Travelers - A variation in handling by Allan Ackerman

- This version is a slight variation of a routine that appeared in my 1995 lecture notes, "How to Tame a Moose." Its starting point was "The Bashful Queens" from the LePaul book. LePaul's method, the spectator, could not sign the Queens, and you had to be preloaded. This version is impromptu, and the spectator can sign all the cards.
Dai Vernon is credited with the Travelers plot. I first started to do Dai's version when I purchased the book "Stars of Magic" in the late sixties. His version is not easy to do. Over the years, I have published six versions of the Travelers, all of them simplifying the original handling.

I have published six versions of the Travelers effect over the last 50 years, and all of them have tried to cut down on the numbers of palms. Most versions of this effect have four palms to complete the effect. I also should have mentioned Brother John Hamman in the credits as one of his ideas was used in the construction of this routine. This is fantastic, thank you for your work on Vernon's traveller's and your tremendous contributions to our craft. I have been a fan of your work since i began my journey in magic. I've always been intrigued with the plot of travellers. However, I've always been a bit shy to put some real effort into it. Due to all the palming involved. However,. I would really like to learn this particular handling because it doesn't have any palming and I have a routine in my current set that I believe would mesh very well with this. Where can I get the lecture notes with this routine in it? Also, is this routine able to be done while standing up?
