      Hello! PHP seems a bit in decline. 2023 was not a very strong year for PHP/Laravel. This might change though.

      Hi @alphacharlie8292 Everything will depend on you. You will have to graduate first and be involved in different study/freelancing projects. Only once you get some professional experience and your degree in IT, you may get some opportunities in Germany.

    Hey there!!
    I am a fresher learning the MERN stack now. I am C1 certified in German. Have an year of experience teaching German part-time in a high school in India. Have almost 1.5 yrs to complete my degree here in India. Do I stand any chance anyhow to get a remote/onsite German job/internship after completing the degree and acquiring any amount of skills possible till the time?? Plz reply

    I seeking many times but the employer there said visa work and sponsorship is difficult... But department of work in Germany said to me just find job and there is no problems

      Hi @alieutech132 you’re on the right track here, but German companies generally require at least 5 years of relevant project experience before they consider hiring you from abroad.     The HR Department is also super narrowminded about hiring in the IT department. If you didn‘t study you‘re out. doesn‘t matter if you have a compareable degree or experience.

    Hi, I am non EU national who finished my phd in france and got a job offer from germany last week. I have applied for a blue card (the employer helped me with it) but the visa appointment is too difficult to get. I am currently on a waiting list(12-16 weeks) for a visa appointment in Paris. Do you think this situation will change in 2024 regarding the long waiting times for blue card applications ? Like I am not sure how can one arrive in germany with these lengthy waiting times bcz no employer would want to wait for such a long time?

      You should ask your employer about fast track then it would be faster

      @@AsifSaifuddinAuvipy i thought they would do that by themselves since the agency which is handling my documentation is well known in Germany. What extra document does this process need in addition to the regular documents?
      Tbh i think even fast track process wont affect the procesing speed since the problem lies with the appointment system.ONce an appintment is made then it doesnt take more than 2 weeks. Thanks for your info, I will try to ask them.

      @@carti8778 you should have apply via a welcome center in Germany. Once pre approval is done via welcome center, they ensure you get fast track appointment. I got visa recently this way. You seem to applying normal work permit.

      @@AsifSaifuddinAuvipy the employer(it's a US company) applied for a visa for me. They told me that they have a global mobility team and it would take around 10 weeks in total which seems okay given the current conditions. Nobody said anything about the welcome center and I personally didn't find any info regarding it on Reddit. I think I can't do much now except for waiting. The issue is that the embassy website doesn't have an appointment webpage, they only have a waiting list option and u have to put your details in it and they will send an appointment date and time by themselves. I am not sure how can someone from outside reduce that waiting time?

My workplace in germany is hamburg and the fast track authority responsible there is the welcome centre for professionals in hamburg (as u too said). So how much time does it take for an employer to get the approval from them so that I can book an appointment after that. All my degrees are recognized and the company is a big company.

      Hi @eldahalas7015 There is a need to be careful while applying for jobs. If there is no requirement for the German language, no one will ask you about it. Do not apply for jobs with the German description and where German is mentioned.

      @@FAJIGBerlin I have 20 years experience in IT. Last 2 months I'm looking for a job in Germany, because I'm living here. I send almost 200 CV in different companies. Most of them German companies but also companies from Netherlands, Belgium, Poland etc. I'm carefully read job application, and obviously don't send CV to the companies which requite German up to B1-B2, and companies which write their Job Application in German. And for last 2 months I didn't have event HR screening meeting with German companies. In total a had 10+ interview but not with German Companies. How it works? Companies in other countries hire Germans but not German Company?
