I'm actually team Hyeyeong (thank god, don't think I could deal with losing another time), but Sunoh and Jojo's angst is very relevant to my muse who absolutely thrives on making angsty videos, so here, have this edit.
This looked waaay better on Sony Vegas, but I'm not unhappy with the result, this song honestly fits them like a glove (the 'blonde girl' part? lmaoo which other kdrama ship can pull that off?).
I think Sunoh and Jojo were starcrossed lovers, they loved each other deeply and burned brightly together at a point in their lives they can never return to again. They weren't meant for each other. Jojo didn't know what to deal with her trauma and pain so she unavoidably really hurt Sunoh, and for all his faults, he deserved better. I believe she's a good person, but good people can be toxic to others sometimes. That was the case for Jojo with Sunoh, just like it was for Sunoh with Hyeyeong.
All in all, I am happy with the way things turned out. Jojo needed a love that's peaceful, a partner who'd help her lick her wounds, and Sunoh couldn't be that (he's too intense, has too much attention surrounding him and too much going on himself). Similarly, Sunoh is literally affection starved, he could never get what he needed emotionally from JoJo but Yukjo is so openly, physically and verbally loving... she can meet him halfway, and they are actually my favorite pairing from season 2...maybe I'll make a video of them sometime.
Anyhow, this is getting long already so...Sunjo shippers, I'm sorry it didn't work out. Just mourn for a bit, you'll heal, I talk from experience.

I feel like Jojo fell for Hye yeong later on in the story but with Sun-oh and Yukjo, it felt forced like it felt he 'settled' for her because he definitely knew what her feelings for him were unlike Jojo.

Exactly. The contrast is too brutal between season one and two and the reason she gave to sunoh made zero sense. She forced herself to love the other guy who stalked her until she agreed to date him
the fact that jojo was the only girl who ever made him so happy , yet also capable of breaking him completely , shows how much he really values and loves her . He was willing to wait 4 years for jojo to ring his alarm but only realising that she ended up ringing hyeyeong’s 😭

I am so sad that they didn’t end up together, it broke my heart to see him suffer over and over again. OML again she only stayed away cause she wanted to protect him. After the accident it was never the same. She blamed herself and had to stay away even tho she loved him. Yeah I get it he was in pain and never understood but you can’t really blame her. She even was gonna go back with him but when she saw him with the other girl she digieres it was better to let him be with someone else.

I think the point of the story is Jojo and Hyeyong build their relationship. Sun Oh and Jojo were a highschool sweetheart and they suddenly like each other because of their highschool crush. When Jojo is actually trying to build a relationship with Hyeyong. She didn’t force her feelings, she learn to love him.
That’s just how I viewed it anyway.

She hurt him and broke his heart twice. For four years he blamed himself ,Thinking it was his fault that she left him and didn't love him anymore. She should have talked to him and trusted him and opened up about her fears. He could have helped her because that's what love is. He would have done anything for her. She gave up on Sun oh and she gave up on their love. She hurt him , he didn't deserve that. Sun Oh deserved better ,It breaks my heart😭

I still feel quite betrayed by Jojo bc even after 4 years worth of explanation, in the end she explained nothing to him. We knew that she apologized bc she felt sorry and regret things that she did. But, she never once explained directly why she was so scared to love him back then. (We only know from TRW posts, right?). Its frustrating bc it was like what Sunoh said about how he’s willing to take 99,9 steps toward her and she’s too scared to take just 1 step closer. Its just unfair that she’s not willing to give the same chance to Sunoh like she suddenly did with Hyeyeoung. Well, i guess it was either bc of bad timing or he’s just wasn’t “the one”.

I can understand that Sunoh and Jojo were a good couple but tbh, Hyeyoung doesn’t show much love??? What can the guy do more lol he did everything he could while respecting Jojo’s boundaries and knowing the fact that she didn’t like him back, also knowing the fact that his best friend was in love with her too. Yes, Sunoh and Jojo were good together but so are Hyeyoung and Jojo. I don’t necessarily think there is “the one” for us in life but rather people we find, fall in love and then drift apart or stick together.
I think the real issue isn’t SunHo vs HyeYoung, and who deserves JoJo. I think some of you are projecting the typical male lead fantasy. That when a realistic male hero gets the girl, it doesn’t live up to the fantasy.
So many Korean dramas are rich, handsome but arrogant or childish male lead gets the girl. That we have become conditioned into the kdrama foundation. That when it diverts, we do not like it.
Also I do think looks are a big part as to why the character SunHo has a big shippers. If the person who play HyeYoung was your typical Korean standard beauty. There wouldn’t be this big of a debate.

Ok I'll be honest with you here. If a boy will ever love me THIS much, I would never let him go! 😭😭 He was always so honest, loyal, straightforward and ready to fight for their relationship and the most important thing he never doubt his feelings for her, not even once. Even though when his heart has been broken so many times. The only thing he wanted was an answer, that was a major reason why he couldn't let her go, he thought there would be still hope for them (let's be honest, we ALL thought that, haha). Was it too much to ask for? Poor Sun Oh, he deserves so much better. I got triggered so much by season 2 that I could write a whole essay about it. XD I know it's just a KDrama, but damn this hurts. Your great edit broke my heart twice, haha.

Not likely, although it would be awesome to have a second shot at our jojo and sun oh ship, netflix has already created an ending to end the series. The way all the characters received their own ending scene is mostly an indication that it’s the end. Although the webtoon version is still ongoing, the film has already been written to have an ending. But hopefully I’m wrong as i also want to see the third shot of jojo and sun-oh’s love story. Also there’s no anticipation or an indication for a season 3 in the ending of the netflix series.

I seriousley punched my bed so many times and cried because it was fucken sad that sun oh did not end up with jojo when all he tried to do was remind her how much they love each other after all the times sun oh was with her and they made so many memories why tf would jojo even decided to force herself to love hye-yung. I always shipped them and I always wanted them to be together but after season 2 I realized that sun-oh is way to good for kim jojo. Sun-oh deserves so much more than a girl that ends up stealing his smile. I’m still sad about the fact that they didn’t end up together and that she lowkey forced herself to stop loving him even tho she had no reason to do that but I just hope that the other girl makes him happy again and that he gets over kim jojo and gets his smile back because he shouldn’t waste more time loving her after everything she did to him.

Tbh, S2 did Sunoh's character dirty! They weren't suppose to kiss in S2, and Jojo should be living with hyeyeong at this point if they really follow the webtoon. The webtoon was rushed and weird as well in the sense that when The four of them (yokju, jojo, hyeyeong, and sunoh) was together on the street, jojo will be able to remove the shield and ring hyeyeong's alarm and sunoh will be able to ring yukjo's alarm. I'm so pissed that they make sunoh's character so petty in S2! All he did was to cry and fake his smile when in reality he suppose to be falling to yukjo at this point! Its very frustrating.

Many hate Jojo for what he did and the truth was horrible but real life is like that, she felt pressured by what she thought of if "guilty of the death of her parents and without a future or path" since that is how they made her feel everyone around him. Some people prefer to cut the relationship at once so that it does not hurt but Sun Oh resisted and has his reasons, but Jojo did not want to humiliate him in public, it was he who did that in front of everyone and drew everyone's attention by humiliating himself like that. Jojo decided to stop loving Sun Oh since she used her shield so as not to cause trouble for the shitty society that is in South Korea. Outside of that, she wanted to try again to make her life and Sun Oh still clung to her (due to the lack of maternal love) And the series is realistic, it shows the phases of self-improvement. Sun Oh represents the pain of a person being left behind, Jojo represents the emotional problems of the family and HyeYeong the will and persistence. Sun Oh's path was the most difficult since he was never sincerely loved but sometimes we have to let things go ... Because life is like that ... That's why this drama hurts because it tries to reflect reality, the app symbolizes lack of privacy that we now live with Facebook and tweet our information is no longer private, if we see it like that, Love Alarm changes its meaning. It's just my point of view ..

Many people said that it's stupid how people throw hate at Kim Sohyun because she played playing Kim Jojo in the film, but as a film lover, I think because many people love the film, they would want SunOh and Jojo to have their happy ending, so when the film ends, and that didn't happen, they just got angry

Some decided to throw hate at the people played the part, Sohyun gets many hate but I think Jung GaRam gots some too, it's just that SoHyun get more hate than him

Sun Oh and Jojo were soul mates. It made me cry when they didn't end up together. I truly loved this show. It made me feel the character's [ain on a deep emotional level. For it to end like this, is just heartbreaking.

Muchos odian a Jojo por lo que hizo y la verdad fue horrible pero la vida real es asi, se sintio presionada por lo que ella pensaba de si "culpable de la muerte de sus padres y sin futuro ni camino" ya que asi le hacian sentir todos a su alrededor. Algunas personas prefieren cortarla de una sola vez la relacion para que no duela pero Sun Oh se resistia y tiene sus razones, pero Jojo no quizo humillarlo en publico fue él quien hizo eso frente a todos y llamo la atencion de todos humillandose asi solo. Jojo decidio dejar de amar a Sun Oh desde que uso el escudo para no causarle problemas por la sociedad de mierda que es en Corea del Sur. Fuera de eso quizo volver a intertar hacer su vida y Sun Oh seguia aferrado a ella (debido a la falta de amor maternal) Y la serie es realista, demuestra las fases del superamiento a uno mismo. Sun Oh representa el dolor de una persona al ser dejada de lado, Jojo representa los problemas emocionales de la familia y HyeYeong la voluntad y persistencia. El camino de Sun Oh fue el mas dificil ya que nunca fue amado sinceramente pero aveces tenemos que dejar ir las cosas.. Porque la vida es asi... Por eso este drama duele porque trata de reflejar la realidad, la app simboliza la falta de privicidad que ahora se vive con Facebook y twiter nuestras informaciones ya no son privadas, si lo vemos asi Love Alarm cambia de sentido. Es solo mi punto de vista..

Hye-Yeong deserved to be happy in the end. Sun-Oh knew his best friend loved Jojo yet he still pursued her. He was in the wrong in the beginning. Hye-Yeong respected Jojo’s relationship with that other guy that’s why he didn’t make a move and waited in the sidelines. Sun-Oh didn’t do that. Jojo didn’t know all the things that Hye-Yeong did for her. He would keep her safe, knows her daily routine, and understands her situation. Nevertheless, Jojo should’ve gave them closure for her mistakes.
