At the beginning I was like, "Oh yeah Santa Claws is a Fiend. That could be pretty funny and make some Memes." but then I saw the deck list and realized you woke up and chose violence. Fantastic deck profile

Santa is supposed to be used as a kaiju, so it’s there’s a low probability that konami’s gonna ban a card for being used the way its intended to be used unless people find a way to (ACTUALLY) abuse it, Since Santa only gets rid of a monster and not backrow or anything crazy
@@txkyoaes5743 There are actually quite a few ways to abuse santa in a very degenerate way. look it up. its beyond disgusting and i am sure the player base will catch up with this crap and demand konami to limit 2 santa

@@txkyoaes5743 i dont want to spill the sauce because a lot of people see these videos. But one degenerate way is yosenjus. They Kaiju you with Santa Claws and then use any bouncing effect to bounce back santa to their hand. Rinse and repeat until the opponent somehow has an option to disrupt the sequence. if not, get ready to have one of your monster being tributed by santa each turn while Yosenjus bounce it back to their hand...
@@ChrisPTY507 yeah I seen that before but that’s not abusing it, Santa claws/kaijus are meant to be used as a form of non targeting removal that can’t be responded to. Plus they would’ve had restrictions on how many times they could be summoned if Konami wanted them to, since volcanic Queen and lava golem already have such restrictions and are way older. Therefore I wouldn’t consider it abuse

You know, I think a better version of Dark Fusion Gaia Deck is to subtitue a couple of rock monsters for "Imano Iwato" and use Sakaki Yuya ( Smile World ) to stall till you gather you cards you need for Dark Gaia.
Is santa claws a sign that konami is ready to power creep the game ? this card is one of the most versatile pice of turn 2 removal the game has ever seen .

I see a lot of people saying mask of restrict but that's a 1 of that you get from lumis and umbra now fog king you can get 3 of since its a box sr iirc though 0 atk if you just summon it

Untargetable and/or indestructible boss monsters are slowly becoming the norm to become a meta deck, so i think the either stop releasing them or they start bringing more kaiju options

wait a sec you mean Santa gives the opponent +1 at the end of the turn? I though it gave you +1.. guess it would be too broken to tribute an opponents monster and then draw extra at end of turn.
It gives +1 to the "owner", so if you tribute your opponent's monster, he becomes the owner of that card.. it's on his/her field. You're right, it would be too broken
