What nozzle do you use. Do you use the same nozzle for water and Chemical
The 1 is the HF Hydroflouric Acid which is a brightener and the 2 is a a strong soap which neutralizes the Acid and then you switch to the rinse, but if you use to much acid, you can turn the Aluminum white and that will not set to good with some of your owner operators, they pay good money for those trucks and the aluminum tanks. I know, i use to be one and i owned a mobile pressure washing franchise for many years till i sold it all.
It looked like his all turned white in this video … I have this issue on some bins but not all …
I know this is a long shot .I just got my 1st fleet. 175 truck tractor trailers and tri axles minimum 50 a week. I worked for a company 12 years ago and did 200 trucks a day but he always had the chem mixed so I suck at mix ratio. I'm also being cautious because the company that was doing them for 18 years sent a different crew out and they etched all the polished aluminum so they canned them now it's mine. It takes forever im using soap and scrubbing it sucks haven't jumped to 2 stepping yet. I've been using Wab chemical cold water I have a hot water landa I just bought using it tomorrow on them. Any knowledge would be much appreciated. Like chemical mix the wab says brushless but it doesn't work . My downstream pulls 20,1 when house washing it adds chem on strong. But can I just Down stream the polished aluminum brighter then the soap like a 2 step you think? I'm using a 4gpm machine. But how would I mix the acid in a 1 gallon pump sprayer if I didn't down stream it? And if im downstreaming the brighter and soap how should I cut it all the chem info is on there website wabchemical I use the power wash and the aluminum polish safe and the aluminum brightener. Congrats on selling the business must have been successful
Did you let the aluminum brightener dwell before you applied the degreser
Yes, I let the #1 Hurricane dwell on the aluminum surfaces for a minute or so. On all other surfaces I spray on #1 Hurricane then immediatly hit it with the #2 Thunder. I used the HD Cutter degreaser only around the pump on the back of the truck.

This truck is washed once a month and I charge $180.
What tips are you using ? What pump are you using to apply aluminum brightener ?
I am using a 40 tip that is for a 5.5 gpm machine.
Hey I have a fleet I wash of 100s of trucks. Im trying to make my days more worth it obviously time is money and I'm making $30 per truck, and they want good results. I am using Image 1 & 2, because these trucks have polished stainless & aluminum EVERYWHERE. Will this work better then the Image? But, is it still safe to use on fleets with polished everything? I mean, they have over 100 chicken lights installed on every truck in custom polished stainless brackets on every side of the truck.
Hurricane and Thunder and not safe to use on polished surfaces. We do have our polish safe soaps #1 Bling, #2 Storm or #2 Magic. These will be much more cost effective than Image. Give me a call (580)490-2247 if you have any questions.
