No penicillin for Infantile Botulism Treatment. Increased lysis of bacteria releases exotoxins. Supportive care + BIG-IV (if you have it) only.

How does a person get this infection in their belly button??? No piercings but 3 laparoscopic surgeries.

Snake Eyes 420 could it be the endospores were living on the laparoscopic instruments? Or maybe they were already deep in the belly button and the puncture during surgery gave them entryway to an anaerobic environment (damaged blood vessels). Whatever it was, let me know!
