The best part of the video is the headshake when akali jumps off the map and him clearly looking to the side to write down the bug to fix for himself in the future. Honestly the most pure game dev reaction I could have dreamed of.

Bug at 12:59 where either the true damage isn't applied or it doesn't pop up in the numbers for some reason? If I'm not mistaken, there is no cooldown on the True Damage procs.
My favorite part of new sets: watching future mort be confused by past mort’s questionable decisions.
I created a PBE account because of this set. And so far loving the aesthetic. Is it too much to ask for a board where we get to play around with the music for future sets? I understand that future sets will have their own theme and you'd want that to be a focus but it would be cool to have the music stick around once its over. And yes even if its a mythic stage, I'll roll for it hahaha

Question is, is it Yasuo thats the issue or the True damage trait. Maybe deal 15/30/45/95% of your damage as true damage instead of extra damage might be more appropriate. Maybe have to buff the base damage of those units a bit in return, it felt like they were really underperforming without True Damage 4/6.
Yasuo maybe from 1,5% to 1% attack or even instead of a % give him 1 flat attack so that the Augments dont scale too insanely with him.
385 Attack / 183% (2,83) = 136
so he gained 249 attack from his passive, at 122 Stacks of it, so with 1 flat attack it would be 258 instead.
Also i am not sure how the code works, but
284 Attack at 85,5% increase, thats 153 Base attack? (x1,855) 23:30
385 Attack at 183% increase, thats 136 Base attack (x2,83)? 34:44
Something seems weird with the % scaling unless its only taking base attack or your Yasuo lost base attack throughout the game.
I agree with a slight (emphasis on slight) nerf due to the 10 second fight but keep in mind how much stuff is aligning for this comp
You have an early stacking health augment, an cybernetic omnivamp augment and an augment that turns the health you were stacking into AD and AP
With that much stuff basically perfectly aligning for Yasuo, it could be argued that that should be really strong. This game was basically perfect case scenario for Yasuo
yasuo op.
He‘s still only a 3-star one-cost, which are incredibly easy to hit due to basically being able to 100% force your headliner early. This unit should be average early, strong in midgame and then average/weak lategame.
You can literally just go Yasuo with decent items, 6 True Damage (had 5 TD for majority of the game and still won every single fight) and win the game, just like that. You don't need stacking augments for him to win you the game.

Wouldn't it make sense to be able to buy a headliner, when you already have a headliner active, but at 1-star without the headliner bonus? I feel like it could be frustrating, if you're rolling for a specific unit and then it shows up as a headliner, when you can't sell your current headliner or have them as your carry.

Hey mort, for me, the new color color for unique traits looks like a brighter bronze trait, why not go for something mode red-ish
Well hate to break it to you but it might be just you. It's clearly orange and bright and looks nothing like the bronze traits.
I'm colourblind and I see it bronze-ish, might be Gabriel's problem indeed lol
@@SierraOxygen I know about colourblindness my best friend is. And some devs put a special mode for exactly that reason. But if gabriel is colourblind he should've led with that, instead of saying basically "hey you said it's different but it's really not". Either way I can't imagine how being actually the same colour as other traits and mildly resembling one another is a problem here. It's different now, if you're colourblind, then I'm sorry and you should ask for a colourblind support, not say that the change is bad.
You claim to know about colourblindness, then you surely know that a lot of people don’t know that they are colourblind from a lack of diagnosis. This isn’t that serious, Gabriel was merely sharing his opinion, keep in mind his monitor might not display accurate colours etc.. perhaps try to be a little kinder to people you interact with on the internet :)
@SanTEXNeeK I don't get how you can be this aggressive in the reply. You know what else looks "nothing like the bronze traits"? Almost every other color imagineable. When the entire blue side of the color wheel is completely unused (could be blue, purple, green, etc.), the fact they chose a mute orange for the trait is VERY questionable.

Would it be a nice adjustment to be able to click / highlight the traits you are looking for, and by clicking them, they would light up in th shop ?
I think Yasuo is overloaded for a 1-cost unit. He has infinite AD, an execute, true damage, attack speed, a dash, HP and omnivamp from chosen. I don't know why they decided to recreate Set 4 Yasuo with even more features right at the early game. Numbers can be nerfed, but his kit feels like at least a 2-cost, and Mort said this himself in his 1-cost Tier List video.

Mort, genuine question. Do streamers/Americans get priority on getting on PBE? Emilywang logged in after just one queue. I have been trying for 7 hours and I think I've seen 'unable to connect' for about 8 times now after waiting 30 mins to an hour.

Would be pretty nifty if the augment thing on the left was a boombox with three speakers that light up with the augment choices as the game progresses.
True damage team fights should be faster late game as they are doing pure damage, I feel like this was only so OP because of Yas had perfect stacking augments to pair, maybe edgelord was a little strong because when it went in he became so much stronger. That is just my thoughts
Yeah and when yasuo gets contested at 3-1 and people can’t hit and get perfect augments, they just hard lose tbh

Even though Yasuo got really strong, I don't think that's entirely unbalanced or broken. You had insane items and augments, and you started stacking him good really early.
Loving the stacker mechanics, can't wait to play it! :D
He is broken
it's very broken. every game on pbe will have 1 or 2 yasuo players who dominate the lobby. he just stacks way to much given he is almost guaranteed to get every last hit due to his execute.
Completely broken. Wins every game even against late game comps. Havent beat it, havent lost with it. Busted

Thank you and your team, again, for disabling completely the 1v0, for the entirety of last season and I suppose for all of this one! It definitely cuts out all of the queue times(just 6 hours instead of 6 and a half! Wonders!!!!), and makes total sense Riot not wanting for people to know the set and experimenting some stuff alone! The best way to learn, is in a toxic and stressful environment! :D Keep up the Amazing work!

i think the 1.5% ad scaling on yasuo passive is too strong for a 1 cost unit honestly. I feel like itd be healthier if it was 1% or .75%. every game ive seen him in the person who has him goes 1-3 normally 1.
I love the music! Unfortunately, imo it's not loud enough. Would love to be able to have an option to listen to it separately.
Yasuos dmg could probably be nerfed by 50% and he would still be decent lol, seeing 3 Item frontlines die to a single ult is gross, but thats what PBE is for

tbh, yasuo is a little op. had him attack my main neeko 3 star tank, while ahri, seraphine and kai sa were only attacking him, and he just wouldnt die

i dont wanna say yasuo is super outta line, but for a 1 cost, he does have alot going on, an execute, scaling attack damage, omnivamp, edgelord free attacks and positioning.
Somehow I think the pacing at the early stages were better, but yes, at the late game your Yasuo was smurfing.

Idk man, Boxbox played to 6AM instead of 1AM because he said he'd play until he gets a first place but ended up getting 2nd over and over because he kept losing to Yasuo players. _(ironically, in the final game there were 3 players able to beat a 3* Yasuo player)_
I mean if you have a well stack yasuo with other solid side carry like kayn you should win broken mean you can use yasuo as a solo carry from the start to the end like set 4 that is broken
