    I still don’t get why Asobo is so restrictive about their sdk and API and why they won’t let active sky make it better

    • @ronaldjames
      @ronaldjames 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s not them. It’s their weather provider that’s restricting access.

    • @UnitedAirlines4Life
      @UnitedAirlines4Life 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ronaldjamesthat doesn’t make sense. 3rd party developers are not asking to access Meteoblu’s server or data. They just need access to the simulation files needed to inject their own weather. But then again Asobo is very confused on what many people ask of them.

    My force feedback bruner yoke has totally woken up using the new active sky, its mayhem in turbelence...can fell all new forces since installing, updrafts downdrafts and more weight on the yoke and movement.. for me its worth every penny... for non force feedback yokes (which is dead flying anyway) yes its quite rigid and probably just stick to msfs weather. getting a motion rig H3 in a few months cannot wait to see how aggressive active sky makes that

    All I'd want is the moving air. Nothing else. It could be a huge win for Active Sky if they can get it right. It should be that the pilot has to work to keep the airplane where it's supposed to be. It shouldn't be just bouncing (which is what it looks like in the video to me). In light winds it should feel and look like floating that changes and requires correction, like a boat. Their competition is RealTurb which is pretty good but also could use some improvement.

    Is the turbulence much better than the default?

    not sure if I need it if I already have realturb ? Is this turbulence better you think?
    I agree that stock turbulence is non existent

    Useless, as long as Microsoft does not open the weather interface, multiple weather cells cannot be displayed at the same time. Therefore, you might as well fly with weather presets. It makes no difference.
