You know a Man truly love you and afraid to losing you..when he hold him self not to raise his voice when he angry or upset at you..and still talking sweet and still hug you and smile at you in that situation
This is an age-gap romance. Lu Jin is older and wiser, not overwhelmed by emotions. Also, this is part of character development to show how his love changed him into a forgiving man. What makes me sick is the writers had to butcher Gu Shengnan's character to accomplish this. There was no character development for the female at all. In the last episodes, her actions and decisions were worse than when the drama started. She is young and naive, but in the end she was plain stupid, careless and thoughtless.

My complaint is with the writers, to drive the story along, conflict mostly happened because the heroine acts so immaturely the latter half of the series.

Agreed. I did think her decisions that amplified the conflict were just completely unnecessary and were just done to drive the plot. Other than that the story was really good one.
