    Love this project, but exactly how long do you use the blow drier? I tried and the candle started melting

    Hi, your video is very helpful, please tell me what kind of printer you're using because I did something similar but the pic colors aren't so bright. I need your knowledge. Thank you.

    Hi. I did these on the flameless candles and they worked perfect. I would love to know if or how you do it and still light the candle without it going on fire Please could I get a reply.

      I think these may be more decorative then for use...maybe a short use but I wouldn't do long term

      ***** I'm glad you posted that you had worked this on flameless candles. I have looked everywhere to find if it can work on them. I would like to hear details from you using the flameless candles. I tried applying a photo using Lazertran Inkjet decals which did not work like it is supposed to. I am trying to decide whether to use the wax paper method over it or spray finish. Thx

      If you hallow out a spot in the top of the pillar and trim the wick, you can drop in a tea light candle and burn that then replace the tea light as needed.

    hi lovely idea. can you use normal photo paper or does it have to be on tissue paper? may sound like a silly question but i just wondered if there was an alternative

    Does it matter what type of printer you use to print the image? Do you have an inkjet or laser?

    Just wondering if they are safe to burn?

    these are a great idea but you simply would not wish to light them up,, given when the paper gets exposed to heat the chance of that catching fire is great tthus you create a small 'bonfire' candle,, you could attach the pic to a plastic candle by soaking the tissue in wax then very very carefully applying heat to the tissue as you wrap round a plastic candle,, but it would need great care

      If you do it right, then it is safe to light up the candle. The tissue paper gets saturated with wax and melts along with the candle.

      @lilnan10 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can use a blow dryer. I've seen many tutorials on this technique using the blow dryer. I wish we could've seen this closer. Too far to see the finished product.

    Did you use ink jet or laser print?

    Can this technique be used on a wax LED flameless candle? That way the candle can be lit all the time and never have to worry about it burning down into the photo.

      Nancy Maher yes you can , I did mines on wax LED flameless candle , and it came out so pretty. Especially pretty at night lit up.

      one thing though do you print these thin paper in a regular printer because i had rough time doing it with my printer!

    • @ramosmaria0424
      @ramosmaria0424 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you do, but you need to tape the tissue paper on regular paper to give it stability. Try stretching the tissue paper a bit on the cardstock. It is tricky I'm not going to lie. When you are designing your image place it in the middle, so that when you print it gets loaded to the middle of the paper and it won't get stuck on the tissue paper. I hope It made sense.
