@@Ditekks Let’s work out if he played half ok… I calculated this already so Barcelona played 13 games x 90 = 1170 mins. Messi played 322 minutes. Which means Barcelona played 848 minutes of football without Messi. And honestly especially as a top and humble player such as Messi I’m pretty sure he would only want to be classed as a winner if he contributed a reasonable amount.

Your also stating he was an important player in the groups but not really, overall he played the equivalent of 2 games out of 6 in terms of minutes, and 115 mins of the games Vs Chelsea. As I said I’m sure messi himself won’t acknowledge he helped win that champions league. Messi is an unbelievable talent and probably the Best ever and I prefer Ronaldo and I’m saying that, but that season he never played a significant part in Barca winning that title. A substitute goalkeeper Scott Carson for example isn’t going to look back on his career and claim he won the league with Man City because let’s face facts he never, he was just part of the squad.

Messi only played 2 90 minute games, scored 1 goal and never featured after 1/4 finals. I’m pretty sure he himself wouldn’t claim that one.
