I love how the writers show her struggle and her reconnecting with her 3 year old self and telling her she's worthy bc she feels like that even as an adult. Many ppl dont realize how important it is to love their inner child and help them heal. I had to learn that too. I felt worthless bc I wasnt always the best in school and bc I failed exams and tests etc. I put pressure on myself to be perfect bc everyone told me I was perfect when I was younger. Only after I learned that I'm perfect with my flaws was I able to heal and thats exactly what the writers did for Maya
At first I thought „wtf are the writers doing?“ but now I really appreciate the raw way in which they display Maya‘s mental health struggles. Looks like she is making her first steps in recovery, first being that she notices how much her perfectionism is damaging her. And I really appreciate how Carina gives her space because she knows that it‘s the only way she can help after her other attempts have failed. I‘m certain they will get back together. Fighting perfectionism is a long and tough journey, but they‘ve proven how strong their bond and relationship is and how much they love each other.

Carina isn't giving Maya space right now, she full on packed and left, and I think she had every right to.
Yes she loves Maya and knows she needs help, but Carina needs peace too. Her wife has put her through so much
@@kemizehabib-mohammed8791 Carina has been far from perfect. She has been pushy and controlling and triggered Maya several times, so she’s got work to do as well.
@@rachels1313 Maybe she could have recognised that pushing and prodding at Maya wouldn't work, and tried to find ways to help her that respected that. Given her time to get to it on her own. She will want to learn to find a way of meeting Maya in the middle with that, even as Maya continues with therapy.
But I don't know if she would have gotten help on her own, and they were about to start a family, and Maya was in such downward spiral; she WOULD NOT get help.
As much as it makes you a villain, I'm not sure it's okay to just let someone you love keep on heading straight for disaster because you're trying to not push them too far.
In the end, what's helping Maya now is what Carina had been begging her to do all season.

Can we appreciate the slow burn of the mental health story? The slow unraveling of Maya? And coming apart of her marriage and the build up to the explosive blow up? God, this healing and coming back to Carina could be obscenely satisfying if writers don’t blow it. I really think this character/story arc could really put Station up into award show contention.
I love the fact that she got into this character and gave it her best performance to show the difficulties of mental health; denial acceptance healing that it is a process to get to the finishing line
What a fantastic character they've made of Maya 👏👏👏 so authentic and raw and painfully human. Danielle is def ready for some really BIG roles (additionally to her projects as a director).
Makes me cry because when I first started therapy my therapist had me write a letter to little me. I think Maya has CPTSD and if its from childhood trauma ( which cptsd often is) healing your inner child, loving them is a huge step.

Where is carina? She should be with here during those tough times, she should be there for maya even if maya told her they ove, its just we say without thinking when we are in so much pain. She should stay by her side.

Writers of the series deserves more than a hug…. However if you can twist is a little bit… introduce another person into carinas life and maybe after maya recovery let’s see her actions
Why would anyone want that? Carina has not been a saint in her wife’s spiral. And why would anyone want to see Carina be more cruel to Maya and see Maya suffer more. She is getting the help that Carina wanted her to get. If that’s not enough for Carina, then Maya deserves better.
