    Thank you for your videos. I have one question though: you are saying that Liver Yang rising is coming from LV-Qi-Stagnation. I have learned from my teachers that LV Yang rising is coming from a dysbalance in yin and yang. There is a lack of yin or yin-substances like blood holding the yang in its place so that it rises upwards. In contrast LV Qi stagnation is leading to suppressed heat and LV fire which is flairing upwards. Can you explain how the LV-Qi-Stagnation is making the LV-Yang rising upwards? We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏

      TCM doesn’t work that way, we treat the person as a whole, not the disorder. We need to figure out the root cause!
      We look at the tongue, observe the skin, eyes, hair...we take the pulse, ask questions on sleep, digestion, diet, immune system...and then we make a TCM diagnosis and create a treatment plan accordingly 🙏

    I cant fall asleep in evening until 2 or 3 oclock. But after that and during day I sleep like a baby. And always fatigued. Is it heart and spleen deficiency?

      Because it’s in charge of the mind and calming the mind at night for better sleep. The heart is in charge of blood circulation and we need good blood flow to the brain in order to balance the mind and body 🌷

    Does sweating occur in fibromyalgia? A fibromyalgia patient has been suffering from excessive night sweating for the last 7-8 years and wakes up drenched 3-4 hours after sleep. What would be the reason?

      That’s a Yin deficiency, lots of fibromyalgia patient start with blood deficiency which often leads to yin deficiency 🌷

    Heart chi deficiency - sweat when anxious
    Heart Yin deficiency - night sweats
    Insomnia- do U 5ake along time to fall asleep, or do U get to sleep easily. Do U have frequent recurring nightmares.
    Do U wake up bet 1 & 3am
    If
    Heart & kid yin deficiency- tossing and turning all night, hot all night, sweats, (spleen & heart blood deficiency plus liver chi stagnation- irritable, Pms, moody
    Spleen chi deficiency- has loose stools
    If pale & poor - lips related to spleen, heart related to face & tongue, Poor memory
    Liver yang rising stems from liver chi stagnation, headaches , short, irritable
    or liver fire - above , thirsty, angry, hot - worse than first.
    Recurring Nightmares- gallbladder chi deficiency from 3mo trauma
    More fire in heart - general nightmares,
    Heart- in charge of sweat -
    If anxious, can't breathe - heart chi deficiency as can't stop sweats
    If someone never ever seats heart Yin & blood deficiency (mum??), Body fluid deficient.
    Oversweating - deficiency in all aspects...and heart deficiency.
    If fire- reflects on tongue, ulcers on tongue not mouth, on meds, never sleep - heart fore🔥- heart connected to sml intestine, bitter taste in mouth - heart fore
    Rapid pulse - excess fire in heart. Dandelion tea, valerian , Spirulina, seaweed, and sprouts, no lamb - hottest meat, eat slowly to help digestion.
    Heart symptoms
    Heart chi deficiency- sweat when anxious, palpitations
    If chi deficiency- fatigued, pale tongue, weak pulse att heart position
    Heart yang deficiency- feel cools, pale tongue, not feeling right in heart, slowing down heart, if swollen & wet - heart yang deficiency
    Hert and blood deficiency- poor sleep, pale lips '& face, poor memory, anxiety so can't besleep, vhoopp6 and thin looking tongue
    Red cheeks, dry mouth & throat - heart Yin deficiency
    - yin - nightim3 (sweats), toss & turning insomnia, mentally restless & fidgety, thin & rapid pulse,
    red tip tongue in centre of tip of tongue -pale or purple, cold sweats, pulse knotted, pale & purple arteries, fainting, in coma
    Excess TCM heart - phlegm fire in heart, heart fore - palpitations, red faster, do urine, thirsty for cold hearts, fire in tongue, no sleeping, rapid full top, strawberry yellow coating on tongue, incoherent speach, manic, bipolar - phlegm+ fire - tongue sticky greasy coating on tongue + slippery pulse.
    Heart blood stasis - excess pattern, palpitations, angina pectoris on way, pain in heart radiating to arm, lips & nails purple, cold hands - send to ER

    Does what is written on your website for phlegm-fire symptoms mean agitated excited?
    Sometimes it is difficult to understand in which sense words with more than one meaning are used.

      Phlegm fire can be agitated mind, restless, agressive, rage, hallucinations, schizophrenia… big range of symptoms depending on the severity 🙏

    If one of the patterns matches the patient's symptoms, the tongue fits but the pulse does not, or vice versa, what to do? What is essential in diagnosis?

      Often there are more than one pattern so the pulse or tongue may not reflect the same pattern (also the pulse gets affected by a lot on a daily basis so not as reliable🙏). That’s why we look for the root cause pattern, we use the 5 element theory to see where it all started and address that pattern first which will often resolve the other ones 😍

      In other words, wouldn't it be balanced? Wouldn't the complaints of the patient with yin deficiency increase more during the day, because yang would increase even more during the day?
