Great job! I still have the actual Jet Sonic that was on my dads patrol car. I am attempting to kinda restore it and my first step was sanding the lenses that were100% faded and fogged. I totally surprised myself and they actually came out super clear. My goal is to put my JetSonic back in service one day. Anyhow, great job on your light bar!
*Blaine Bugaski* There was a special, more expensive, JetSonic model that had sensors/switches that would "park" the outermost rotator on the outer ends so the reflectors would perfectly face front and rear, and could be put into flash mode, so instead of just rotating as seen in the video, it could stop and alternately flash. Those versions were more expensive but I remember our chief's car in the fire dept had the pricier version and when he turned the rotating lights off you could see the outer reflectors continue to rotate to their parked position facing front & rear. At the time it was a neat thing to have because the JetSonic/JetStream bars were a lot smaller and looked good on smaller cars. Plus, I think it was just a much nicer looking lightbar to begin with. We had two smaller brush trucks that had JetStream barson them, which were just JetSonic bars minus the center speaker with a center rotator where the speaker would be, but they were the 'standard' bar and didn't have the special "park" feature described above. Although I really liked them, I don't think JetSonic/JetStream bars were as bright as the older AeroDynic and TwinSonic bars but because Jetsonic had smaller reflectors it obviously couldn't emit as much light. Still, they were great bars though :)
