The title of this video refers to the stereotypes that are sometimes (often!) applied to models. It's just a bit of a ramble about how I'm actually on the short side and have a quirky look and some other bits of info about myself. I hope that you find it interesting in parts...

I think you are amazing, I also think promoting perfection is wrong as it has a negative impact on people (especially teenagers like me) but the gap in your teeth makes you real. it shows you're a real individual not a perfect plastic Barbie. You are beautiful! its great to be different , its what makes you stand out ! :D

I love you even more now :P, just because your skin look so good as a person whose job requires much makeup, seriously! People here get so negative about students putting on makeup--I started fashion and beauty at comparably quite a young age, as a native Chinese, and most of school, especially good ones don't allow student to have any fashionable hairs and outfits needless to say wearing makeup! Thought I m still in school and my mom is fine with it, YOU are now a living example to show!

Nobodys perfect,including models so how can someone comment on her teeth?? That is so horrible clearly someone viewed her as beautiful because shes a model and is absolutely stunning this goes to show that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

What made you decide to finish with an English Literature degree instead of that law degree you were initially going for?
Also, I was wondering if you could give me some advice, I'm an English major right now going for my undergraduate degree. Do you think it's better to have a concentration like literature or a plain ol' English degree and then have a concentration in graduate school? I probably should be asking my advisor this but he kind of terrifies me haha

Hi! Thanks for making this video. Your advice was quite helpful, specifically to make modelling a plan B. and something you said about it being sort of hard to make an income of modelling. When I watch your videos, it encourages me to go to the fashion shows and walk down the ile, and to call agencies. Last time I was in a modelling agency, the manager wanted me to walk in heels, like six inches too, and I couldn't; I was twelve. Now I'm fifteen, I'd like to show that manager how I can walk now.
In French, when you have a little "gap" (I don't know how it's called...) between front teeth we say that you have " Les dents du bonheur", the translation would be something like "Happiness teeth". That's not disgusting at all :)

After your finished with a modeling job do you usually keep in touch with the production house or the designer?
When you have a modeling job what makes you feel the most comfortable before getting on the runway? Or doing a photo shoot?
Have you ever been asked to wear foot wear that is difficult to walk in? What do you do when confronted with this challenge?
I love how the type of models changed in the last years from 'boring' perfection beauty to attractiveness as in people who might not be standard beauty but damn attractive because they just have something special. Look at Georgia May Jagger who know is the face of Cavalli's new perfume - I bet you they booked her because of the cute little gap in her teeth.
I think you are utterly attractive and me as someone who has a little gap in her front teeth as well, I think you are absolutely gorgeous!

Wonderful video. You are so down to earth and I think that the gap in between your teeth gives you a very diverse look. There are plenty of models with diastema and they are very beautiful, just like yourself. I was wondering if you could please do a study tip video and perhaps what you do to stay awake and study late into the night. Could you perhaps include favorite books of the week, month? It would be really rare, I'm afraid - for fashion modelling anyway. Always do a bit of research and see what types of jobs these agencies are booking girls on.. If you can't find anything decent on them, steer clear! x
