I recently picked up this game. I initially used all assists on as I was using a controller (admittedly I still do) and it is still the most intense racing game I've ever played. Much more than the old Colin McRae games and RBR. Keep the throttle on for too long, or don't feather it correctly, and you're in a wall and your radiator is gone.

Maybe not, rally cars work on low grip surface so you must be feathering throttle most of the time
