Me and my friend won a competition by just clampping every stick together in 5 big "logs" with the sticks standing sidewards(like you did in the beggining), and topping it with more sticks creating a base for the weight ENGINEERING
will it still be as sturdy without the supports inside of the bridge? my project requires the bridge to hold a minimum of 25 lbs and it has to be hollow 3:12
Why are the top and bottom beams sticking past the triangle tops and bottoms? Why are they sticking out past the envelope? Do you know if this was on purpose?
It depends from weakest to strongest 1) hot glue (weakest) 2) Elmer’s glue (middle) but takes a lot longer 3) wood glue (strongest) but again takes a while
The fact that us without no experience at all is planning to use this design today in a competition that i somehow got involved with...wish me luck also we cant use glue we must use rubber bands
Is nobody going to ask what kind of popsicles they were? Did he eat them all himself? Over what time period? Was it delicious all the way or did nausea and regret set in after a while?
Who is using this video to win a school competition?
Fr ong
For ours we can’t use double trusses 😢
Me.
Me
Me lol
You just saved my principal list streak. Thank you so much!!!!
yo thanks for the model and the design, i added a bit extra diagonal support and some more sticks at the bottom edges and it supported my own weight
Awesome to hear! Good job!
Whts ur weight 😊
Hey! Do you mind telling me exactly what you did? I have this same project that I’m a bit confused on!
I'm gonna use this to prove that I dont need a group for a school project 🔥
Thank you I will make a shrine for you helping me win this competition and get bragging rights
Looking forward to the shrine :)
Is this bridge a howe truss or pratt truss bridge?
Hey I have to make a 1 meter version would this bridge work if I also used wood glue for it?
Yes it would work and wood glue would b better

Yes, it will still be sturdy
how many stick you used to creat thus bridge? and how many kg this brig
Hello, just wanna ask is all the triangles are equilateral triangles? If not, what is the degree of triangles?
the triangles are equilateral :)
Does anyone know how many sticks you need and how long is this? Need it for a project
It's 126 popsicle sticks
@@physicsburnsdayum that's alot
How many sticks does it take?
Thank you very much. I did your project and it was a success. 🇧🇷
Which type of truss is this one
Why are the top and bottom beams sticking past the triangle tops and bottoms? Why are they sticking out past the envelope? Do you know if this was on purpose?
the relative motion or speed between single electron and proton when they are atract toward each other
makes perfect sense
How many popsicle sticks does this bridge use
126
Is it possible to make this with 120 posice sticks rather than 125? for a project
Yes
thanks
Will it still work if there is a hole in the middle?
yes
ok thank you..
We cant use hot glue 😢
That's stupid. You can't even seriously burn yourself it's just a pinch. What grade are you in??
Use regular glue but it would take forever
Really
Use regular glue 🎉
Can this keep a person on top of it without breaking?
What is the name of the model used for the bridge? Howe Truss or Pratt Truss?
Double intersection warren
Thank you this easy but I had one doubt at what distance you attached the chopstick
Never doubt yourself
How many sticks were used in total to do this job?
126
It held 170 pounds thank you!!!
Wow! Great job!
1:55 I cant do the top because the staggered triangles are not alligned with the regular triangles
:(
How many popsicle sticks does this take

How many sticks is this?

This video was so helpful thx 😅❤
Can I use fevicol for this bridge
No idea what that is
What if it hangs below? It will break.
It will still work very well
@@physicsburns If so, that's great, my school will post it below, if possible, please make another test video.
Can you make another video using 100 sticks?
That's a good idea, but won't be coming any time soon
can you tell? I need to make it less than 200 grams, what parts should I reduce? 😊
it is less than 200 grams
What was the weight of bridge
Around 260 grams
how much stickes you use
can you make a seperate video on load calculation and how to make it lighter but still carry heavy weights?
How many stick that we have to buy??
If you are making this exact bridge, it has 112 popscicles
could you make this with white glue
Yes, it may even work better
Does it work with elmers/normal glue??
Yes, it might even work better, if you are patient with it
How many paddle pop sticks does this use?
126 popsicle sticks
152
Will it work with starws
Yes
How many total sticks were used
126. It can be altered by making it shorter or longer.
Would basswood work with this design?
It would look quite different but yes.
I’m doing a project for weight for two bridges and this helps me a lot🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
By the way can you show how to make sans from undertale out of popsicle sticks.just wondering
me thank you for the strong bridge you got, i go 10/10
thank you 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
Awesome! Great job!
Would I be able to make this with with 100 sticks and atleast 20cm
hi! im doing this for a math project. would 50 pcs of popsicle sticks do?? thanks
It will work but you can’t make the bridge as long
@@physicsburns thankss :)
How long is the bridge I need mine 14 inches for the project?
can we use other than hot glue gun?
How long will it take to make this? I want to use this activity for team building in the church.
I can make it in about 45 minutes, but I would say others will make it between 1.5-2 hours

How many popsicles have been used here?
Hei idont have hot glue instead of that can i use fevicol or any other option
Yes any glue will work, hot glue just allows you to make it more quickly. But hot glue isn't actually that strong.
Would wood glue work as well?
Yes, it would be even stronger with wood glue
Hi. Are you using classic glue or sylicon¿? We are just permitted to use schoolar glue :c
