You are an amazing craftsman, how can you cut so straight with out a rip fence? You make everything look so easy, you are truly gifted. What kind of wood did you use for this storage cabinet? Whatever you used for finish really brought out the grain. It looks like white oak? I really liked your idea for the drop down drawers . The finished product is very beautiful, I would buy and be proud to have this useful piece of furniture in my home. Also would like to commend you on still having all of your digits, you are so comfortable using the joint planer without push blocks if I tried that I would be minus several fingers. I enjoy your web site so much keep up the good work and be safe my friend.

concealed hinges never take much weight. In this type of shoe rack all the weight is on hinges, be it wooden partition weight or shoes weight. Door becomes too heavy and after some time hinge become very loose. Suggestion: Add a stopper in such a manner that door stops before it fully opens so that their is not much pressure on hinges.

I love the work you produce but that joint table saw & jointer scares me to death. The way the saw blade spins when you are using the jointer. I would be worried about losing body parts

Great craftsmanship!!! But you miss areas during the staining process!!!
All that work into making the wood look beautiful and then the cheap stuff on the back and under the drawer. Also could have cut slots on either side of the drawer and slide the bottom into it instead of nailing to the bottom. Could use a corner jig on the corners with that router. Stain first and then assemble at least for the hardware. Perhaps rollers on the bottom would be nice. Looks nice.
