The bananas were ripe. There were lots of them. Why didn't she cook it instead. It could last for days... Doesn't she know those bananas are edible? Why did she leave it behind? Don't she like to eat it? I'm bothered that she prefers the banana flowers instead of the banana fruit itself. She could have stored it up. It's safer than cassava. Banana for sure is healthier than noodles...She should have gotten back to get those felled bananas. It's bothersome that a lot of food were wasted. We buy those bananas here for 4$ every 7 pieces...

When you make enough money buy some chicks to rear so you can have meat & eggs. There are a source of protein for you & daughter. Also buy some rice to eat.
