Excelent experiment! I would really like to know at what levels I can use Model D together with JD-Xi. I can connect both to use the JD-Xi as a controller for the Model D, including using white noise, etc; or its possible to integrate the sounds of the JD-Xi into the Model D as well (the JDXi can send its audio to the Model D Audio Ext jack so that it can use the Model D Filter, Amp and Envelopes in the same (the JDXi can send its audio to the Model D Audio Ext jack to use the Model D Filter, Amp and Envelopes in the same)?
N I C E ! a couple of questions, can you sequence the drums of the jdxi with the sequencer of the beatstep for more versatility? and can you asign the knobs of the beatstep for controll the hidden menu parametres of the analog part of the jdxi?

Using JD-XI as a controller and sequencer for the Model D is perfectly possible. But the JD-XI is stereo and the Model D is not...

Yes for the first question. I didnt try the second but it is possible (but too much complex)
